This is the first song that I really want learn to play. The melody touched my feelings. I loved your video. You are a great teacher! It's a little fast for me, but I'll practice small sections of the song in loop every day, like you said. Great tips for beginners like me. Thanks for taking time to do this tutorial! Just start to follow your channel! Keep up the good work!!

Phenomenal work - haven't been able to find a guide that goes at a fair and good pace, with information not being thrown into your eyes the second you click the video. Seriously amazing work, albeit 5 years later I say this.

Thanks for writing. I’m tellin’ ya. There are parts of songs that are hard to hear because of a number of things like background noise. Glad this helped!

Thank you so much. That's great to hear. Music is difficutl for sure. I was asked recently what the easiest instrument to learn was. I could only respond with, "They are all hard. There is no easy one!" I have a feeling that you are going to make it this time⭐!

Thanks for doing the work here and posting it. Very helpful. It helps people out even years later. On that note..I came hear through a related video and would love to see your part 2. Unfortunately your next video doesn’t come up in “related videos” and I searched your page, but maybe I missed it while scanning through the next few years of videos. Idk. So did part 2 get made? I looked for a link for part 2 in the description for this part 1. I hate to ask for a link here, but I’m looking and looking and can’t find it on my own.

Hi Shannon, I am sorry to be so late on this reply. Yes, I know what it's like to try to sound like a particular song but your guitar doesn't quite match the recording. Hozier uses this model guitar: equipboard.com/items/takamine-new-yorker-p3ny
