As much as being a thug is about walking the walk, I really like the idea of “mista thug isolation”…the title itself is simply the summary of the project. What it’s like to be a thug, NOT when and what you do when your with squad but what a thug thinks, feels and goes thru all while in isolation. Despite stereotypical definition a thug isn’t a drug slanging, m*freeing guy. More so a lifestyle, a thought process, how you speak, the behavior, an emotional life of traumatic hardships. A thug is what is made when you introduce struggle to a person who truly can not seem to be lower than the bottom.

good video but ultimately missing the heavy hitting gutting pain of a man wearing a helmet which talks of a child being taken from the safeness you were used to gets stripped from you in a single breath. and how that sets the stage for the manic and mental breakdown that is discussing the topics of alcoholism and the fear of being unaware of what happened. that whole album needs an introspective video honestly its just so emotionally contorting

Rumour has it that one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.
