This was initially a Drake and Lil Wayne song. Nicki was going thru some writer's block and Drake sent the song to Nicki to help her come out of that writer's block. This was around the time she was getting ready to rerelease her mixtape "beam me up scotty" on streaming platforms and this song was put on that mixtape with two new other songs.
