LILIAL Replacement Formula - How does it compare and smell?

A Lilial replacer formula I stumbled across, where I decided to mix and try for myself to compare with the real thing (Lilial). With IFRA restrictions clamping down on this fabulous material (Lilial), I decided to try to make an alternative replacement base/accord to see for myself if in fact a decent usable replacement can be found and used.

Lilial was banned in the EU in Aug 2020. They set the date of 1 March 2021 to reformulate anything manufactured after this date. Anything made before this date is grandfathered. It isn’t banned in the US, but since big companies sell worldwide, everyone will follow the EU rule since it is the most restrictive.

It's hivernal, hiver in French means winter. So it's probably a cold lotv smelling molecule. Love your videos btw, especially molecule showcases.

You can also add hydroxy Citronellol and dodecanal to increase the tenacious nature

It is my understanding that part of the reason lilial will be missed is because of its effects in the formulation. How does it perform for you as a substitute in one of your formulations? Thanks for the scoop.😃

It's resiteced to total use of 1.4% in your final perfume by IFRA restrictions. I haven't read much into "why" it's restricted....but I do know it is.
