Protesters jailed for months, some years without bail. A phone ap that didn't work was forced on travellers, some seniors who had not cell phones and others who had little to no knowledge of computer, digital type electonics and such. Many wrongly forced into quarantee, whole others such as myself simple blocked the message sender that sent text and email messages insisting I quarentine. To date I have never had COVID, I did all of the required testing before crosding the border and provided evidence at the border. The border agents recognized the ap did not work. I believe the readon it didn't work was directly related to the last minute change to requirements to have a drive through pharmacy administer the self test and provide a lab report to prove evidence the test self test was administered and verified by a licensed lab. This required an additional two aps, one from the particular pharmacy and another from the particular lab. I believe the Arrive Can Ap was not compatible with the various Aps from various pharmacies nor the aps from various labortories. Long story short Canadians have been detained, harrassed, even beaten and jailed on bail unjustly. In contrast to what is described as a violent illegal protest where the police refused to step in to call violent protestors to order or otherwise arrest and jail them. Clearly the RCMP as an organization is corrupt.

A lot of those ‘protestors’ may not be Canadian. Give them the boot. People have the right to protest, not to disrupt. There should be a way to arrest them at least on a charge of disturbing the peace. Why didn’t the police act? Were they told not to?

Embarrassing. Toronto police or rather the chief, his staff, and divisional commanders have shown total incompetence and inconsistency. Toronto citizens and the province should be embarrassed.
