Bestselling author, actress and creator, Lilly Singh, has always sought to create honest, inclusive and inspiring spaces through her work. In this spirit, Lilly’s Library is her newly launched virtual book club, dedicated to celebrating South Asian imagination, writing and writers, uplifting and empowering them, and enlivening the literary sphere with abundant, colourful worlds. Singh’s second book, Be a Triangle: How I Went from Being Lost to Getting My Life into Shape, is a vulnerable, charming, wise and empathetic confession of her own struggles, the power and limits of the mind, and a guide to befriending, and always returning to your truest, most fulfilling friend - within. In conversation with Supriya Dravid, Singh discusses the shapes of life, its lessons, and the spaces which nurture them.
Lilly Singh is a multi-faceted entertainer, actress, producer, writer and creator. A leading force in the digital world, she has amassed a global audience of over 38 million followers across her social media channels, where she writes, directs, produces and stars in comedic and inspirational videos. Singh recently struck a first-look deal with Universal Television Alternative Studio (UTAS) with her Unicorn Island Productions banner. Currently, she is developing numerous projects across film and television. This April, Singh will appear in the second season of Hulu’s comedy Dollface and appear on the big screen starring in DreamWorks Animation’s action-comedy Bad Guys.
Supriya Dravid is the editor-in-chief of Ajio Luxe, a luxury e-commerce portal by the Reliance Group. She is the former editor-in-chief of ELLE India. Her novel, A Cool, Dark Place, was published by Penguin Random House.
