I went through the same thing! My scroll wheel was unbearably loud (I use it for productivity purposes in addition to gaming with a headset) and they gave me the option of store credit (which I would have used for the model D) or a replacement. I opted for a replacement and they let me keep the old mouse which I gave to a friend. Lol I was pretty happy with their customer service. Only thing I found somewhat annoying was I had to film and upload a video of the issue but I guess I understand.

I had my first gen Model O replaced due to some extreme scroll wheel squeak. They sent me out a brand new one free of charge and let me keep the old one which I gave away. Idk what happened with yours.

Pretty unlikely a local store will have a demo model, but my local microcenter in dallas carries Model O and Model O-. I'm sure they'll stock up on the D later.

That's really good to hear. I know this mouse has a lot of potential. Still currently my main. The LMB wobble is starting to become more noticeable. The scroll wheel is still adequate but could be better. That would be amazing if they improved all of these things.

Pro: - Grip (Nice feeling) - Weight (coming from a roccat emp, damn its like night and day difference. EMP is so heavy (118g) - Ergonomy (realy nice shape, no problems at all, palm Grip) - Wheel (feels good, down is really silent, up a little bit of rattle, tho) - Mouse Buttons M1 and M2 are clicky without pre- or posttravel) - Cable Con: There is only a minor Con, thumb Buttons are a bit mushy, with some pre Travel. But no big Deal when you get used to it. The Size and position is fine. Like i said, i love it. 9/10 Stars, absolute a recommendation.

It's unfortunate a little creak or noise can take away a lot from the experience of a gaming mouse. I absolutely hated the scroll wheel squeak I experienced. It wasn't even subtle though. It was so loud! I'm glad they replaced it.

I thought that the model d was gonna be too big cause I have small to regular hands, but it was actually good for me. I don’t recommend it to people who have small hands, AND who play with a claw or fingertip grip, because it’s a bit too big for that. The model d is good for palm and rested grips Coming from a g502, I recommend it

Honestly, right now im leaning more towards the Model O. I think the ambi grip is somehow more comfortable for me. I like the larger side buttons on the model D but they are placed a little too high for my liking. With that being said, that's my preference and there is no such thing as a best one.

U can change the lighting without the software by press and hold the scroll wheel, DPI button, and forward side buttons to change RGB effect. Many of the youtubers didn't even notice while doing the reviews

For me, the Model D is my second favorite lightweight mouse ever. I love the larger shape especially for someone who's bigger. The only one I like better is the Razer Viper Ultimate because of the switches and it's pretty light.

With this mouse it's weird for me to palm it because the mouse is definitely flatter so my fingers hang over the edge a little bit. (My hands are big as you can tell😂)

Hey man! Awesome video, helped me decide to switch to the model D. Bought the model o a couple days ago switching from the deathadder just like you did, and my scroll wheel feels inconsistent as you said and it makes a rattling noise when I scroll up. I use a palm grip when I'm just browsing, watching videos and when I game I use a claw grip. Feels awkward when I palm because there isn't a hump that my the top of my hand can rest under. So now I'm planning to exchange my model O with the model D this week!

Glad I could help! I've actually taken my model D to my work office and I use it and LOVEEEE IT. I use claw grip for gaming and prefer ambi mice for that. It's all preference but yeah, I hope it works out for you! I definitely prefer the side buttons on the D over the O easily.

It gets hot!? And yes, that is the old cable. I would email Glorious immediately. For sure they'll honor the warranty and get your mouse replaced with a new one (which will also have the new ascended cable). I had to RMA mine because of issues with the scroll wheel and they sent me a brand new one! Only annoying thing is that I had to upload a video demonstrating the issue and email them several times but they even let me keep my old mouse. New mouse is perfectly fine 👌

Out of those choices I would choose the model D. My only gripe about mine right now is some scroll wheel squeak. Idk if i'm just rough on my mice or what but i experienced that with the model O as well. I'm not sold on the G wolves Skoll yet. I've heard that the build quality is poor on them. I can't comment on that exactly without holding it but i've seen many reviews. I believe a lot of the zowie mice have refreshed with better cables and lower weight but still not significant enough of a change. Depends on what type of games you are playing. So what games do you play? As for the Roccat, if you're going to go wireless, i think the only two reputable and consistently high-performing mice across they board at this time are razer and logitech's wireless mice. If you like to palm ergo mice would be a great option but i'm sure you know that already lol I would like to add one more mouse to your suggestions: the deathadder V2 that razer just updated a month or so ago. Really great mouse!

I think the Model D is still a great option. I think you would benefit from a light mouse. The model D is extremely light weight and gorgeous. I actually purchased the V2 deathadder and am looking to review it soon. I honestly expect to switch to it when I do. I like the previous deathadder elite before switching to the model O back then. The V2 improved nearly everything so.. yeah. Lol

I ordered the Model D when it became available and got it within 3-4 days. Plugged it in and was pretty much DOA (dead on arrival). I’ve tried unplugging and plugging back in and nothing. No lights, pc didn’t detect it, and mouse pointer didn’t move. I did notice a whitish hue in the DPI light, which I haven’t seen before since I do own a Model O. I also noticed when I shook the mouse in the air I could heard something rattle. Anyways I wrote an email to them I never heard back? Not sure why, but was looking to see if I could get it replaced. I would even be fine with like a 30% discount code or something but haven’t heard from them. Not sure if I did something wrong but was disappointed. Might just go with a G wolves Skoll for the ergo feel. I did know there have been issues with quality from Glorious.

Sorry to hear. I had scroll wheel issues on my model O and they sent me a replacement. The only annoying thing was that I had to upload video evidence proving this issue to them. Overall, i'm happy that I got the replacement though. I shook my model D hard after reading your comment and could only make out a very slight rattle. Seemed like it was the scroll wheel so i put a finger on the scroll wheel and shook it again. No rattle at all. I think you got a bad copy. I would try emailing them again! You're definitely gonna get more than a discount code. Either a full replacement or 100% store credit i'm sure. Let me know how it goes!

I would contact them immediately via email!! I got my model O replaced for a squeaky/defective scroll wheel. I think the warranty is 2 years. Surely you haven't had it that long.

I have had the razer deathadder elite for almost 2 years now and the side buttons have begun to stick and have become less and less reliable the scroll wheel is super gritty. I'm trying to decide If I should switch to this mouse or just get a replacement. I kind of like the idea of a light mouse because I play at a low sensitivity

Performance is great. I'm finding myself feeling more comfortable with my model O thought. I haven't fully arrived at the conclusion yet. Still messing around with them. As for QC, i'm going to be honest here... I'm getting the dreaded high-pitched scroll wheel squeak again and it's really irritated. they replaced my first model O with the exact same issue. I'm quite disappointed. I'm probably going to end up RMA-ing this Model D as well just because of this. I don't think i would notice the squeak during gaming with a headset, but damn it's loud during normal use (I use my computer more for productivity than gaming). I like the Model D but honestly I view the new deathadder V2 as superior. If you're happy with that shape, I would just upgrade to the V2 personally.

Hi bro nice video, is it feel good like deathadder? Cuz i came from 3rd deathadder mouse to zowei fk2 due to double clicking issue and i dont like fk2 shape, i am thinking of changing to another mouse as i am a palm gripper, would u suggest this one my hand size is 16 to 16.5...

I think the shape is somewhat comparable to the deathadder. I switched from the deathadder to the model O. I missed the larger side buttons of the deathadder. Idk if you heard but Razer just refreshed it and the new version is called the deathadder V2. A length of 16 to 16.5 seems a bit small to me but if the deathadder shapw was comfortable to you, I think the model D is worth a try. I think most, including myself, would consider the deathadder and model D as "large" mice. I like the new model D but I'm really considering buying the new DA v2 and trying it out. It also has new optical switches which may prevent double clicking issues.

It depends on a lot of things.. first off, what's your hand measurements, how do you grip your mice, and also what are you running with right now and what do you think of it?

Google rocket jump ninja and hand measurements and you'll know how to measure your hands. "short" doesn't say very much. Haha I could make a better recommendation if i had more details. If you truly palm grip when you game, the Model D would be good (ergo mice are typically good for palm grippers) but I like both the O and D. If i had to choose, i would go with the O . I think the O would be a good and safe choice for a starter mouse as well.

need to see this mouse at long term because of the quality. a lot of other brands have great mouses that just start to feel like crap after 4 months or so of gaming. take the rival 600 and the shitty glued plastic on both sides that comes out after the mouse warms in your hand.

Do you map important things to your side buttons? I would choose the model D if you do. The model O is plenty comfortable and I like it but I don't like the small buttons. That's just MY preference though.

i got mine a week ago i think ( model d ) and my only complaint is that there is a rattle when you shake the mouse, you can even hear it if you make a quick movement like a flickshot or something of that nature. i dont really think thats a good enough reason to file a complaint for a new one, but it is pretty annoying

yeah, that would be pretty annoying. i don't hear any rattle when i shake my model D. I do hear very slight movement with the scroll wheel and i verified this by placing a finger on it while shaking and could not hear anything at all afterwards. if the rattle is that bad, i'm sure glorious will send out a replacement.

Which mouse are you talking about? The model O or deathadder? Because there is a deathadder v2. And that's what it's actually labeled as. As for the model O, it's the size of the box that tells you if its the one with the new ascended cable. All Model D come with the newest ascended cable.

I have the model D glossy and GPW. I wanna go back to the model o tbh. Something was so good about it I aimed the best with it and was more consistent. Maybe for browsing or relaxed stuff the Model D was better in this part. With the GPW when I do not play with it for a longer time it needs a lot of time to get used to it. not very consistent and almost no curves, it is wireless tho. If only the model o had a wireless design for just few grams more I would keep it as my main mouse. my hand size is around 19x10 i think i will give it a shot again.
