I am a survivor of SA. It occurred mostly in the 70s and 80s, I have been a nurse for 25 year. The reality of what happened only occurred two year ago. It is sad, but I imagine a local group of assholes talking > A: "What are we gonna do this weekend?" B: "This weekend there is that gettering.... We just have to show up and wait in a long line until it's your turn...." I wonder what men were there!? And was there any kind of exclusion procedure? How do you imagine that? I remember when I was a kid hearing about some woman who wanted to go into Guinness book of world records for being the woman to have slept with the most men in the shortest amount of time. I forget the exact number and time frame, but I'm sitting here in my mid 30s having the craziest deja vu. I have known a lot of men and women who have lost count of how many people they have had sex with and none of them had their lives together. Almost all of them were impulsive and bad with money and couldn't hold down jobs. Sure, this isn't true for everyone, but to me, alarm bells does start to ring after 6 partners. That's when I'm kinda like "oooh.... what's going on with you, bro/sis?" Because then you're either super unlucky with relationships or people have started to become objects that you use to numb something inside of you. Like money and drugs. Call me a prude, but that is just how I see it. Doesn't mean people with 6+ partners are all bad or fit the stereotype I have observed in my life. But you know. There are always exceptions to the rule and personally, if I was single and had to get back onto the dating market and I met a man who started telling me he "stopped counting after 20" (yes, I have met people like that) I would pay my portion and leave. Because I am not inviting that chaos into my life.

10 partners.... 1 was 20 years of marriage. My current and only one after said marriage is 3 years and married for 2. Prior to that 6 were all relationships the shortest way 3mths the longest 2 years. 2 one night stands......life and parties happen , one was 17 new years eve, the other was 20 and moving the next day to a new city The 6 were all well intentioned and I would have been with them had I been a better man. I was young and didn't have the resources to support a wife. By 24 I was able to do so..... Men also don't lose pair bonding as easy as women. Studies claim 4 or less is the best for women.... Most couldn't bond so easy as most had 4 or more.....found out one lied to me and had over 25 partners.....I left her as a result.
