And obviously also the time for all of us doll customizers to create our special videos!

This doll is really pretty, you did really good!!! Some tips incase: You should reroot before the face up next time. Reroot, pin and protect the hair back, seal, face up, style hair. That way the sealant doesnt crack. And sealant cracks depending on weather, tempature, if theres too much sealant (too thick), so id let it dry for longer than 30mins and wait till its not too hot or cold. Also becareful with thr gloss varnish, too much tends to dry weirdly, it seems in ran down her fac a bit under the left eye, so it looks like shes crying lol. Also i dont know about the leggings, cuz i suck at sewing 😭

Try rerooting BEFORE doing the face. This will avoid the cracking in sealant.

What a lot of customizers do is do the faceup after they reroot. I'd try that route. Oh and try putting more plugs around the part before crisscrossing the part.

White clay is so hard to work with! After the clay is baked, if you can see dust particles stuck in there, rub the spot lightly with a qtip dipped in acetone. It will dissolve the surface a bit and remove the dust. Also, you can use a piece of scrap clay to get particles off of your hands before working with the white clay. Roll the scrap clay in your palms as if you're making a ball, and it will pick up whatever is on your hands that you don't want on your nice, white clay. I hope this helps! Also, as someone who sculpts all the time, the best thing i can recommend (as getting dust or hair on your white clay can be inevitable) is to sand your sculptures, this also helps reduce the visibility of fingerprints too!!

Good tip for re-rooting, when you get to the parting use thicker plugs to cover it :3 hides more of the scalp.

I think the pattern for the leggings needs more height, especially there in the front, and if you use snaps or an elastic it should be fine. That one issue aside, it's better than most of my patterns end up, haha

The leggings did that due to the fact that you probably didn't use any type of elastic, due to the waist circumference being ever so slightly smaller then the hips. So, elastic would help this issue

if you use a bit of high% rubbing alcohol on a q-tip, you can rub and clean off dust and fingerprints from polymer clay
