I am willing to bet L'Occitane purchased LimeLife because it wanted a couple of their formulas. Within a few months, L'Occitane will close LimeLife down because an affiliate marketing division does not fit well with the rest of their business operations model. And that will be the end of the whole thing. L'Occitane is not a successful multi-billion dollar conglomerate by making money losing decisions. The end is inevitable. 🤔🤯🤔😱😥

I know of two top leaders who resigned within the past week at LimeLife. The rats are jumping ship and those left believe L'Occitane is going to continue on like nothing has changed. It infuriates me how manipulative these MLMs' are and you know what? Madison and Michelle walked away from this sale with millions in their pocket. Michelle "retired" from LimeLife a year ago because she knew what was going to happen and she didn't want to be around for the fallout. Madison, who was the remaining CEO, just stepped down about a week ago and is saying she is retiring because she is going to have a baby. Sure, how many thirty-something years old's can just "retire". The sad thing is the loyal LimeLifers are still falling all over themselves to praise these two women. It is a total brainwash and I hope many of them wake up to it SOON!!!

I really dislike how mlms/self-help hacks use the word 'negative'. Like, maybe your friend has sensitive skin so doesn't want to mess around with brands she's never heard of. Maybe she's concerned about the environmental impact of the make up industry so is buying fewer products. Maybe she's keeping a firm hand on her budget so she can do something big later in the year. Maybe she's buying less make up because she wants to feel comfortable in her natural face. Are those "negative responses"? They sound pretty positive to me - but then I'm not fishing for a commission cheque

It makes me laugh that when they talk about "the industry" they are talking about the MLM "industry", which isn't actually an industry at all. The "industry" would be cosmetics, or food supplements, or household products etc. No legitimate commercial entity that expects to be taken seriously would classify themselves according to their sales methods as opposed to the product sector they are operating in. It actually proves that they completely understand that their raison d'etre is the sales and recruitment model, and the actual products are almost irrelevant, except as the feeble excuse they use to deny they are really just a pyramid scam.

I can almost be certain they bought this company for their formulas or some products outright change names and add them to their own product list. Or revamp the company completely. I’m not against direct sales or actual influencer. It’s when you have to have a recruitment process that I have a problem with. I’ve always said whatever product you sell from skincare, supplements, cookware, etc. why do you have to rely on having ppl join or creat a team to make money. If they wanna give you a referral bonus like some companies like Amazon does when you very first get a friend hired sure that’s fine. But why do you make money from what they sell. That’s so weird to me.
