I love that Cupcake Polish - it really does have a nostalgic Christmas feel, which kind of ties in with the movie, which has a modern nostalgia vibe. I also feel like, with the black jelly base, it could be used for a Kwanzaa mani. Fantastic swatches as always, Caitlin!

Ooh I’m conflicted between Grief and Cuticula’s offering for PPU. To me they look quite similar haha. Can you compare?

They're relatively close but the GLL is deeper and the shimmer stands out as more red than in the Cuticula. I think the Cuticula might look a bit more holo overall as well.

I took screenshots and compared both from this video and the one you posted today and wow spot on. The Cuticula one is a bit more holo while GLL is more red overall, but otherwise so so similar. Unfortunately I’m still torn on whether to get one, if so which one, or if I should get both XD

Do you have a comparison of these to the PBE polishes that these are influenced by? I did go to PBE and picked up a couple, but by time I got to GLL table they were very limited and out of stock on the a few I had wanted to get.

Unfortunately I don’t have the originals for comparison. But Mariah said she didn’t have recipes for the originals so they’re as close of a recreation as she could get from her memory of the originals and looking at them.
