Another really good review, nice to see miroku giving shooters the chance to choose a middle of the road model. I've a grade 3 mk 38 and have no desire to own a grade 5, it looks just nice enough to be fair. One gripe I do have with miroku is ,i wish they would start fitting micro core butt pads as standard . As well as being softer on recoil, length of pull could be altered with different size pads.
@PremierGunsDoveridge2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment, I agree that the recoil pads could be a profile system. That said I am not a fan of the Browning Inflex pads at all. Kind regards, Matt

My preference was for a 525 laminate, heavier stock and I like the look

Very nice review. Both guns should be offered with a beavertail foreend.

Prefer the browning , but they'll both outshoot their owners and I'm sure they'll both be perfectly reliable

Matt, the MK38 Grade 3 has been shortened slightly to ‘Browning’ 14 3/4.. I had to grind in a little spacer.. Also 4 Teague chokes and no Flush chokes. Cracking gun though👍🏼
@PremierGunsDoveridge2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment Carl. Interesting as all of our grade 3's are 15". You are right about the chokes though. I wrongly assumed that it would be the same as the standard grade 1 and 5 models. Kind regards, Matt

Another polished review and very informative, as usual. The grade 3 Miroku with 32 “ barrels looks a good proposition for me. I assume that Muller chokes could be fitted and would not upset the perfect balance (for me) on the hinge pin. If a left hand version was available, or the stock could be altered to left hand, it would be on my shortlist.
@PremierGunsDoveridge2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment Walter. I believe that we can make one of these work for you. Yes no problem to add a set of Mullers for the ultimate in balance. Please give me a call with your exact requirements. Kind regards, Matt

I think the Browning looks better I am going to have one soon ! ,not bothered about balance its minimal really .both great guns.👌👌😍😍Got one but not from here got one a lot cheaper and better trade in deal ,And I didn't get the gun from them! got it from you 😛

Definitely prefer the MK38, a very nice gun, shame they don't do a beavertail forend option.
@PremierGunsDoveridge2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. We have actually been able to match some grade 5 beavertail forends to these with good results so we can make it happen👍. Kind regards, Matt

Another great and informative video. It would have been good to have a choice of a beavertail forend but great to see a adjustable comb on this gun and at last a plastic case!!

Another great video! Really interested in an MK38 Grade 5, but why would they be barrel-heavy compared to the Grade 3? Isn’t better quality wood denser?
@PremierGunsDoveridge2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment Mark. I agree that that should be the case. However I have come across a number of 32" grade 5 models that have been barrel heavy. Kind regards, Matt.

The Browning every time for me but only with the option of a beaver tail forend although a little underwhelmed by both of them to be honest and I only shoot Browning🤷♂️.

As far as I know, the B525 S3 is roughly the same price as a 725 grade one. And the 725 (the new past 2020 model) is better than the 525. So just speaking about performance is the B725 Grade 1 better than the B525 S3. And is the 725 Grade 1 sporter better or worse than the MK38 grade 3 limited edition? I want to buy my first shotgun but I'm a bit overwhelmed so hope for an answer and would like to ask you further questions via email because I'm from Germany so sadly can not come by. Thank you

Miroku is missing out on a huge market for their guns by not marketing them in the U.S. is this some kind of strange deal with Browning preventing it?
@garrett17842 жыл бұрын
Starting to see a real lack of effort from Browning these days as far as style unless your willing to pay 10k, but even then your options are limited. I'd buy a Miroku over a Browning any day.
@PremierGunsDoveridge2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I do understand what you mean but then I guess that shotgun manufacturers have a difficult job in pleasing everyone. Kind regards, Matt
@anthony2082 жыл бұрын
The Miroku Mk38 looks spot on, does limited edition mean limited numbers of guns or available for a limited period? Grade 3 looks like everything you’d need in a clay gun at that price range, although if available I would love it if you could order one with less engraving, albeit it wouldn’t make any difference how many clays it busted👍🤣🤣🤣

Thank you for your comment. These are available in limited numbers. Kind regards, Matt

My Rolls Royce Phantom doors shut better then any German car doors! As for LIMITED EDITION easily remedied with four inch grinder, also a Rasp to soften off the sharp Checkering ... Or take it all off (No checkering) looks very nice .. Just off to polish me Hollands...

Thank you for your comment. I actually shot a Browning GTI Grade 5 trap for many years and I do like Browning guns. I just think that the MK38 feels and handles better than it's Browning counterparts. Kind regards, Matt
