¡Buenas tardes a todos! :)
¡Este mes os traigo este cover súper especial y digo súper especial porque le pedí a Allué si podía hacer unos arreglos para este tema y aceptó sin dudarlo ni un segundo :') ¿y lo bien que han quedado? me flipa el resultado.
¡Llevo siguiendo a Amaranthe desde su primer disco y he perdido la cuenta de las veces que los he visto en directo, además he podido conocerlos en persona y son un amor! Si no me equivoco los tendremos aquí en enero de 2022!!! :D
Este tema pertenece a su álbum Maximalism (2016) y la canción original me parece simplemente brutal. Quería darle un rollo más melódico y por eso la versión acústica con Allué :D

So this month I've decided to do something super special and I say super special cause I asked Allué if he could do some arrangements for this song in particular and he agreed without blinking :') How about that? I am super happy with the final result. Let me know what do you think!
I've been following and listening to Amaranthe since their debut album and I've lost count of how many time I've seen them performing, I have also had the opportunity of meeting them in person and they were all so nice! If I am not mistaken, they will visit us next january 2022!!! :D yay
This song belongs to their album Maximalism (2016) and I just love it, I don't know how to explain it, there's just something about it that touches my heart. In my mind I had something more melodic and I imagined it with a violin, that is why I asked Allué :D

You voice sound wonderful, which is par for the course with you :) Wonderful work. It did seem like you were reaching for those high notes a bit, but still sounded good. I enjoyed the stereo imaging mix, with the violins mainly left side. My only complaint is that they seemed to overpower you voice at times, and made it hard to pull you out of the mix. Overall i enjoyed it greatly. Cant wait till the next song you cover!

Thanks for your opinion! Gladly appreciate it! You know, with the mixing it is always hard to find the perfect balance and violin is not an easy instrument to get right cause it's so delicate. My friend did his best with the tools he's got and I couldn't ask for more. I am happy with the result 😌 not saying it couldn't be better, but for the ressources I have it's pretty good I think 😄 Take care and thanks again! 🤘🏻😙

@@ClaraBeack please don't take my original comment as negative. Like I said, I enjoyed the cover overall, and thought it to be great work! I understand that mixing can be hard, esp with the violin, as there's so much dynamic range there. I'm sure he did his best.

@@ClaraBeack Well, before listening to this I didn't like Amaranthe at all, but now I can say they have at least one good song. Your vocals are better than the original, though. You know, you have really good voice with a unique personality. There are some tones in it I love to hear over and over again - although very different tonewise, I get the same vibes with Linda Toni Grahn's voice. She actually left her band Follow The Cipher some time ago, and the last time I checked, they were looking for a new singer......
