Great video and what a great demeanor you have. God blesses us in many unique ways.. and for some of us that takes place through hunting. Our words have power and God blessed me one fine day years ago, based on the specifics of my request. I was asking for a Bull Elk. I heard God audibly say to me that he would respond based on how specific my request was to him, so I asked for a 6 point bull. Two hours later I took my first ever bull... a 6x6. Since then, I have been blessed with numerous bulls to fill my freezer for my family. Last year I had a 6x6 bull stolen from me and God told me I would be repaid 10 fold. 1 week later I harvested the 1st of those 10 bulls. Thank you for sharing this and thank you for sharing your faith! God Bless You!

I've been binge watching your videos for the last couple mornings. You are an inspiration to me. Seeing what you're able to accomplish with the Lord at your back ebbing you along is a fantastic and rugged story. The fact that you document it for us to enjoy is a blessing. I'm planning on being in Idaho in 2020 for elk season. I prayed last night at work about possibly meeting you one day. Maybe in the woods- who knows? Anyway, God Bless ya brother. Take care. And stay safe.

What a wonderful platform to share the love of our Lord. In the beautiful backdrop of Idaho mountains and wilderness, in the midst of a lot of great looking elk and deer. It just doesn't get any better than that. Great bull and an even greater message of God's love to us through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ! God bless you my brother. Thanks for the adventure!

Justin first time watching one of your videos. Awesome footage of your hunt. And a real nice bull. For those who are not sure about your message, know that the Bible says that there is no more condemnation for those who come to Jesus. (Romans 8:1). And that is freedom! Thanks Justin, I'm subscribing to your channel.

Great video thanks for sharing. Loved your sermon as well. I don’t understand why others feel they need to tell you to separate hunting from religion. It’s good to see how you handle the negative people who comment on here. I can see you have the fruits of the Spirit. I use the woods to soul search and talk to my Lord most of the time. I don’t care much for killing something. I do go to hunt and eat don’t get me wrong. I enjoy just watching as much as harvesting an animal. As for the long shot we did 1000 yard shots all the time in the Marine Corps. We qualified with m16 at 500 yards with iron sights. Not sure why some feel they are the ethics police all the time. I don’t know how much training/practice you do, but from watching your video and listening to you I see you aren’t the average guy out in the woods with a gun. I hunt western Washington archery for elk, anytime you want to come out and join us you are more then welcome. Your sermon reminded me of a fellow I saw here on KZbin named (Dr Scott Hahn the forth cup) you might want to look him up and I hope you get as much out of it as I did. God bless you and peace be in your heart and household brother. Keep those vids coming. It’s nice to see God and hunting vids.

I was bow hunting and lost my wallet maybe 70 miles away when I took a dump, it was Saturday went back Sunday to get it and shot a huge jack rabbit after finding it, 10 feet away, the biggest rabbit I ever saw. I live in northern Mn. now neighbors for three years left the horse in pasture and woods with no shelter, its against the law but they were never reported, When it was 30 below if I wasn't disabled, I would have put up a canvas tarp. tied to trees. I took care of horses in Texas, when the palomino died it came to me and we talked. But being contacted by the departed is normal for me. It was the greatest, being contacted by the spirit horse, named Dazzle.

Discovered the channel a couple days ago and have watched several videos. So glad to see someone using hunting videos as a platform to reach the lost for Christ! Of course, you'll never reach everyone (as evidenced by some of the negative comments I've read), but I'm confident you're reaching many. Keep up the good work (literally). I am curious about the long shots. I can see you're a really good shot Justin, and the Ultra-Mag has a long reach, but do you enjoy the long shots or do circumstances just not allow you to close the distance for a more certain shot? I'm too big of a wimp to shoot the RUM, so I have to close to 300 yards (preferably less) to be sure of a kill with my 270. I've never regretted passing up long shots, even if I miss an opportunity now and then. The challenge of the stalk is worth it. Also, the music is good, very appropriate for the situations, but sometimes is a little too loud; it tends to overpower the moment and even drown out dialog at times. Fellow Idahoan by the way.

I've been a deer hunter for 35 years and I've been a Christian my entire life. After so many up and downs in life, I've realized & often said.... *A Tree stand can be one of the best 'churches' you'll ever attend ! Going out into the woods deer hunting always makes me feel closer to GOD. The beauty of the country, animals and plants continue doing their thing regardless of what MAN does.... Anyone that will spend the hours sitting alone, quietly in the woods or outdoors...Paying attention, WILL CLEARLY SEE nature at work BY DESIGN.
@josephbishop32316 жыл бұрын
Why didn't you stalk into the bull you took during the 2 hours he was bedded? I'm curious why you seem to prefer 500+yrd shots across canyons? I've only watched the previous elk hunt video, and this one, so maybe it's just something about this hunt, or maybe you practice long shots a whole hell of a lot.

Great job on a great bull. How far of a shot doesn't mean anything. It takes a lot more skill to shoot 700 yards then it does 200. Being from Idaho and hunting a lot of that area I know it's too steep to shoot under 3-400 sometimes. You simply can't see the animal. What unit was this in?

Thanks for the the Christian message but shooting 700+ at elk or deer seems to me to be unethical as a hunter. I hunt every year in mountain areas, and I always manage to get up close before I take a shot at game.
@LimitlessOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Thanks brother! Long range definitely amplifies the chance of things going wrong, but I have a general rule of thumb that I don't shoot any farther than I can consistently hit a paper plate. I've seen people that can't hit a paper plate at 100 yards and people who never miss at 700 yards. I generally make my kills a lot closer but occasionally I will take a long shot :-)
@bhansen524 жыл бұрын
Lifelong here in Idaho. The game warden tells me there are a lot more wounded elk hobbling around thanks to the long range sniper " hunters". My brother had to kill two young bulls near Challis last fall that had been wounded. He had to go track down the "hunters" who were getting ready to drive away. They were not excited to hike up and get the animals. Lots of these lazy people coming into hunting. How is it Christian and ethical to make these amazing animals suffer? One shot one kill 200 yds max
