We just got back to truck with our first load of meat. A total stranger comes up the road towing a horse trailer. He stops and say "looks like you guys need this more than me" He left horse and trailer with us. He instructed us about horses mannerisms and which ranch to drop it off at when done. We couldn't believe it. She was a good horse.

I needed this video! I’ve struggled to get a Harvest with a rifle and bow while my buddies with me kill and I don’t because I haven’t been in good position at the time. It’s weighing heavy now but I feel refreshed watching this. I just need to keep trucking and maybe I’ll get it done.

I remember passing taking a shot at a bull just like that one many years ago bow hunting and he was only 17 yards away but, I just couldn't get a good angle for the shot before he caught my scent and it blew out on me. I ate a lot of humble pie throughout the years, from the jabs my hunting companions gave me for not taking a shot but, I knew that I had a bigger chance of wounding him than a quick, clean, ethical kill. Although I have never regretted not taking the shot, I have probably shot him thousands of times in my dreams and thoughts! At 76 years of age, I have a fantastic memory that I can never forget.
