The man can sing very well. I could listen to this every day.

Wow. A body that big automatically has the power of air horn. The microphone still far away or maybe switched off.

I have never seen someone that far from a Microphone... Imagine how loud this guy is Belting this out. My dad always told me I needed to "Sing Out" and I never understood what that meant until now.

Is this some kind of talent show, and he's an amateur? 👀👀 I do not know anything about opera or this song, so I, in no way can critique this man the way you did, sir. I saw the thumbnail and the size of this man and I said, oh, this is gonna be good. And I was greatly rewarded! First thing I noticed was how far away from the mic he was. Bravo, sir. 10 out of 10!

Just a little thing, it’s not a song, it’s part of piece. I have to say this because I am in college for music and I have to be technical.

@@johnspence5689 I'm totally ignorant. So are you saying they don't call their stuff, songs, but rather, pieces? And this is opera, correct? I want to learn. Thanks.
@johnspence56894 ай бұрын
@@snakeinthegrass7443 In general, yes they are called pieces because it is part of an opera as a whole. Songs are pieces with singing so it may be considered a song to some, but to me, since it is part of a greater work, I consider it a piece. This is just me trying to be specific on my definition of a song and piece and others have different interpretations of these words. But yea there is a difference between song and piece; most people don’t make a huge distinction and will understand your point nonetheless.

@@johnspence5689 Ok, that makes sense. Since like you said, an opera is the entire work. This "section" of it is a piece of the entire opera. I def can relate it to some, what I believe they call, theme albums. Most notably for me would be Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon and especially The Wall. Yes, they are called songs but they are essentially just a piece of a broader meaning - the entire album. If one plays a particular song, and they don't know the album, they would be very confused, depending on which piece they play. Thanks for the lesson. Appreciate it. Now I'll go back in the comments and articulate my critiques of MrLboyd's reaction with less ignorance. 🤣

@@johnspence5689 OH. I forgot to ask your opinion of this man's performance. It sounded fantastic to me but our host was a little critical of some things - only because he knows this piece very well. I couldn't tell you if I've heard anyone else sing this before. I might've heard it 4 times by now if it's popular. 🤣🤣

Haha he looked to the sky with power because he was acting in character. The character is singing I will win!

Nothing beats pavoratti but this is still pretty good. Also if you want to hear this but better then listen to Luciano pavorattis version.

Worst "Nessun dorma" ever. Sorry. Sound from the throat, no emotion, mechanical, short breath, the first "Vincerò" completely broken. Nope...
