Milking the entire situation so hard with the sensationalism and crocodile tears that the cringe ruins the entire experience and you don't even give a shit about the clip in the end. Which is good, because they hardly show it anyway. Surprised they didn't get a geneologist in like an episode of Who Do You Think You Are to find his great great grandmother's birth certificate 😂

@@thewizardssleeve119 It's part of this awful trend in documentaries, news reporting, podcasts, etc. about turning a story that someone is researching and turning it into a story about themselves. It's lazy. The basic story you're investigating might be interesting, but too short and maybe too dry, so you add yourself into it to make it feel more engaging. Then, just fake a conversation on camera about the story behind the story and you're done.
