human username they actually were the biggest band in the world selling the most ever rock records in a week at over 1million in 2000 with Chocolate Starfish. Yes those other bands were popular at the time but didnt come close to popularity. Nowadays not so much but Limp Bizkit are still relevant in Europe today still touring each year

Not quite! It was fieldy, the bassist of korn, who came across durst when he was a tattoo artist way back! They got talking, durst told him he was in a local band, fieldy requested a tape, then the rest was history as they say.... Another bit of trivia, or urban myth, was that when Nookie was released, the record label behind Limp Bizkit sent money to individual music stations to increase general airplay and exposure for the band! It worked, as they were the biggest band around for 3 - 4 years ahead!

Wrong. They were the first of 3 bands on the Saturday night main stage. They started, then Rage Against the Machine, and Metallica closed. There was a lot of damage done during their lineup, and Break Stuff was the score for destruction. But the festival continued.

Limp Bizkit was the biggest band in the world in the late-90’s/very early-2000’s, which lead to them being friends with these Rap legends, etc. They were MTV darlings back then (when MTV still showed music videos), which made them absolutely massive. They’re still around, and putting out some good music, but not nearly at the heights of fame, success, and popularity they were at when this song/video was released (1999).

Your willingness to be open minded to watch and react to something from my old ass generation - makes me sort of want to give my kids dumpster fire "music" the same respect. SORT OF. We'll see.
