Not quite! It was fieldy, the bassist of korn, who came across durst when he was a tattoo artist way back! They got talking, durst told him he was in a local band, fieldy requested a tape, then the rest was history as they say.... Another bit of trivia, or urban myth, was that when Nookie was released, the record label behind Limp Bizkit sent money to individual music stations to increase general airplay and exposure for the band! It worked, as they were the biggest band around for 3 - 4 years ahead!

They’re still around, and putting out some good music, but not nearly at the heights of fame, success, and popularity they were at when this song/video was released (1999).
