Lincoln Brewster Signature Stratocaster from Fender

Soulful and dynamic, Lincoln Brewster’s playing style has inspired and uplifted countless fans over the course of his 25-year career. With an ash body and striking Aztec Gold lacquer finish, the Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster is a true modern classic, combining timeless body contours and a vintage neck shape with updated features like a compound-radius fingerboard, 2-point tremolo with bent-steel saddles and pop-in arm. A trio of single-coil pickups - two DiMarzio Area 58 pickups in the neck and middle positions, and a DiMarzio Area 61 at the bridge - offer vintage tones with zero hum. The “Soft V” maple neck with nitrocellulose lacquer finish and the maple fingerboard’s 22 medium-jumbo frets are built for speed and comfort. An onboard active boost, activated via the push/pull volume control, and custom mid-boost, controlled by the Tone 1 knob, give this guitar extra power and focus for any musical situation. This feature-rich guitar also has classic aesthetic touches like chrome hardware, aged white plastic knobs, a 1-ply Eggshell pickguard and vintage-style locking tuners.

I bought this guitar about two months ago and have to say its one of the finest if not the finest guitar Ive ever owned. TONE for days, plays smooth as butter, and looks fantastic on stage. Totally addictive to play. I sold two Fender "elite" Strats to pay for this one and it was well worth it...the elites are nice but are bland and lack "mojo"...this guitar oozes mojo from every pore! You are going to love it!

I have the Eric Johnson Strat and it’s a great guitar, but the reason I am making a change is because the EJ doesn’t have this 2-point pop-in tremolo which suits my playing style better. Big difference between the 2 guitars.

get this one.......bought an EJ model a few years back and it was horrid sounding and playing....not to mention fender put generic body they had laying around and was and ej body.....THe body was 3 years old even before the model came out!!!

the main problem is alnico 2 vs 5 : here it's alnico 2 and maple fretboard i prefer rosewood and alnico 5 +tbx

I love the guitar, and I realize the necessity for DEMOs, and Lincoln Himself has a video on you tube for Fender. Thats all I need, and Lincoln has the best vid out there... guess where I am going with this is, If I'm going to shell out 2 grand for a guitar, I don't want ANYONE playing it, not even the the music store owners where I bought it from. The only person touching that guitar, will be me. It better be sealed in the fender shipping box when I arrive, Or I want it coming from someone who can assure me everyone in the place isn't going to hammer on it before I get it.

I know for fact a guitar takes on the character of the person who plays it. Ya have a $2000 guitar and everyone and their brother has played it...???. not interested. Brand new to me, means brand new, in the box. Untouched. From the factory. The Brewster video should be enough. Thanks for understanding.

I have this Strat and it is an amazing guitar. I just wish the back of the neck would've had a satin finish. It's a little sticky for me after awhile of playing. Great vid BTW 👌

@@landonkirk2825 Is this route for HSS under the pickguard or SSS ?. ( Wuld it be possible to put a humbucker in the bridge without drilling .) SOme strat are now built HSS routing even if they are sold SSS . I wonder if this model is . thx

Mine is like that too it's real sticky on the back of the neck and even on the fretboard I feel like they lacquered right over the frets so I sanded the frets really good in the back of the neck and it made a huge improvement one of my favorite strats a lot of nice tones and now it feels like it should

I would buy if it came in ANY other color. Its just too much gold on a Strat. Great look for a Les Paul but not on a Strat. But LB is known for gold so there ya go...

problems : these pickups are different from the custom 69 (Fender) so i am not sure it will be good for Hendrix tones and Knopfler maybe too the boost is just a 10 db ( moderate output for moderate pickups = not like a sh4) not like Clapton and his 25 db boost trem is not a Beck trem no tbx 9 -42 is weak for the power chords vs 9-46 the others features are very good

Learned more from his instructional DVDs than I ever did Skynyrds or stevie Ray. Been following Lincoln brewster for over 13 years. Uses to play lead guitar for Journey, and has written songs sang in most churches in America.
