I ran into the same problem with my car. So basically, you have not uncovered a working solution to the headlight warnings?

I never did find a solution, but decided to leave them installed. Kind of torn on the issue, since I still have those warning messages. Maybe I should have installed halogen instead. I even tried Cougar brand led headlight bulbs, but had the same problem.
