nice video Luke. Just wanted to mention that they do offer foot pedal adapter for this machine and if you get the tig package it will come with every thing you need to connect it to your machine including the pedal. You will have to disassemble your machine to install adapter but the directions are very helpful. I ordered my unit as the tig pack LINK4195-2 which came with the machine but the items for the tig where packaged separate, apparently you can order it by itself. You had a creative why of attaching the tig gun to the machine. Well done.

I just got one but the stick process is king of rough, I'm thinking my old 7018 rods rated at 90 to 150 amps maybe too much. perhaps the electricity in this old house an the 15amp breaker are weak or my extention cords are a piece of crap.

Another UTUBE channel bought up a point with the 210 . the fan the way it is mounted blows fine dust onto the ciruit board and causes problems with the controls on front panel . Spending that much money on this unit and I'm sure its a great unit but DESIGNING it with this flaw of dust contaminating a major part Like circuit board is something to consider..IF THE INFORMATION DOES HAVE A BASE. I DO HAVE TWO LINCOLN UNITS A 125 AND 180 AND A. 225 STICK FOR REAL HEAVY STUFF. HAD THESE UNITS FOR MANY YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER !

Thanks Luke very imformative. I'm seriously considering getting one of these machines. I'm a little confused about the tig peddle...do you plug it in the front or inside the spool cabinet? If in the front, it's a 4 pin connector verses the usual 7 pin?? Or when you said there's a 3 pin inside the cabinet under a rubber plug?? I'm just a little confused. From what I've used in the past for tig it's a pedal with a 6 pin plug, a ground, your torch with a gas adaptor right at the front of the machine. If you know what I mean. Dose this 210 differ from the standard that much? Great video once again and thanks for goin thru it with is. Merry Christmas and happy new year. Greg Ontario Canada.
@LukeFosburg
@LukeFosburg 9 жыл бұрын
Greg Sheppard It plugs in inside the cabinet under the drive roller. There is a plastic plug that you have to remove. There is a special adapter that you have to get from lincoln but then it uses there standard 6 pin k870 pedal.

Anyone know which is better the Lincoln Powermig 210 or the new Miller Multimatic 215? Both are priced right at $1700 with their Tig kits. Although Lincoln has a rebate deal on till 07/31/16 for $200 bucks, found a few online dealer are also including a $25 BassPro gift card too, which in my case works out as many there's a BassPro in my town.

Can you really spray with it? 24 volts seems like its almost there, but I thought you had to be about 26-27 volts with 90/10 and .035 wire. Are you using smaller diam wire to spray? If so, what size?

Nice machine but Lincoln has taken it upon themselves to increase the price of this almost 50% since this video was done and now I'll no longer consider it for my next purchase. I have a Lincoln MIG welder now but I want a multi process unit and while my Lincoln has served me well, this welder is now no longer the deal it once was. There are less expensive welders on the market now that have greater functionality and come with all the accessories (TIG torch, pedal, etc.) that Lincoln nickels and dimes you for.
