I just hit 1000 hours on mine, time to do brushes and plugs. You done plugs yet? This vid was real helpful though thanks!

I don't replace spark plugs until they quit working. Lol. But I used to be a small engine mechanic, so they're a pretty easy part to swap. I'm glad the video helped you. Thank you for watching

Think some day we might get a full review on that 330 mpx? I’m still kinda hesitant to pull the trigger on one

I can do a full review, I'm just not sure how many hours should be on it before doing one. It's over 1,000hrs now, but still feels pretty new to me. If you don't mind, list some things you'd like me to cover and at what hour mark and I'll do it.

@macdaddydiesel I just got through looking at a couple "review" videos on here and it's no wonder to me why you're interested in a review. 1 guy hasn't put 200hrs on his in a year and another has only used it a couple times. Mine has over 1000hrs, I've owned it since new, and I'm the only person who's ever even cranked it. I've got a rainy day today, so I'll be posting a more real review for you and anyone else who wants to see it.

You're welcome. I wish I could've found the proper procedure from Lincoln, but that's a secret they want to keep I recon. I've never run 1 of those 10,000 plus machines, but I can tell you the 330MPX has been great for me. Got more settings than a space ship (gouging, pipe, spool gun, etc.) Also has finer adjustments for each process except gouging, but that little screen also doesn't let you forget when any sort of maintenance is needed. Oil change, air filter change, fuel filter change, spark plug change, and rotor brush change are all pre-programmed to cover the screen with an alert after a set amount of hours. It's also very easy to reset the alerts. No fancy process of standing on your head and entering what feels like a video game cheat code, you just select which dog's doin the barkin, hold down the selector button about 10 seconds, and done.

John, I have the same machine. When I start to weld the machine bogs down and almost dies. I replaced fuel filter, plugs, oil change and air filter. Any ideas

I'm not an expert by any means, but I do know Lincoln wasn't joking with their ventilation space requirements around these machines, so if you've got yours mounted down in a bed with s bunch of stuff around it, it could be overheating and causing an issue that way. Mine used to act up on occasion on hot days when I had it on my Dodge, but where I put it on the Ford, it gets much better ventilation and acts like a machine should. Lincoln kinda tricked us with these machines. Very compact machine, but it requires nearly the same footprint as an old SA 200

@@NAWeldingandFab ok, awesome. I've owned it for 5 years and used it a bunch. I'll look into the ventilation issue. Thank you Sir

Whats the part number on that brush? I can't find one. Thanks
@NAWeldingandFab Жыл бұрын
Part number off the new brushes box: 9SG9462-C. That number is for the brushes that my 330MPX called for and it's the Genuine Lincoln part in their box, so it must be the part number they use.
