Wigsley watch tower is currently under restoration towards being a domestic residence I believe. I last visited around the year 2000 and I composed a poem which I left pinned on the wooden access gate post by the road in honour of those brave souls that all contributed to maintaining peace in Europe by overthrowing evil. I have a small fragment of plaster in my possession obtained from the floor of Wigsley watch tower which is precious to me. My late father was a Flight Engineer in the RAF, but not stationed at Wigsley. On my visit there, I felt a little uneasy on the upper floors, but not enough to have me running out of the building. I think they know when you are visiting for genuine reasons.

I see you went to Doddington, in your Lincolnshire Ghost tour, March, Cambridgeshire is just down the road from there, I lived in March, for a number of years, but unfortunately, I know nothing of any ghosts, which maybe there, LiKe the Old Griffin Hotel, in the town, my husband’s father’s family were born, in the fens, although, I come from Devon!!! 👍😁

I used to play in the Control Tower at Wigsley in the 1980/90`s. I know most of the names on the walls. On the stairs is Helen and Eugene Swann. Still together now and their son drops engine parts off for me to fix.

Give the stories of a few of those 35 men and three women, at least one story, each from one man and one woman. Otherwise, they are just numbers. I agree with you, I think it's the electronic energy within all humans that gets recorded on the rocks. Jesus said, "If man fails to praise God, even the rocks will cry out". That verse has long mystified me. You should show the outside of the church so that your viewers, especially those from the US, can see just how high up you were.

The Dambuster raid was in 1943. 617 squadron wasn't formed until 1943. Ghosts is one thing but don't forget you claim you are a historian. Dates matter.

RAF Metheringham is said to have a ghost of a female waaf, a Katherine Bystock I believe, killed on her boyfriends motorcycle, he survived, but unfortunately she was killed outright..
