Larry was the one who gave Linda the way to become producer in one of dallas episode. The studio initially refused Linda's proposal to direct/produce one of the episode. Larry stood behind her back and helped her by lobbying the studio. They were true friends. Helped each other and reliable in any time.

One thing I have always admired about Dallas and the cast is not one actress or actor badmouthed another actress or actor from that show. Nor were there any accusations leveled against one another

Sometimes I'd watch, sometimes I would go in the other room and play with my Hot Wheels. I knew the names J.R. and Bobby back in those days. As a college boy I started watching the reruns on TNN. I was hooked on the show. I'd watch the 2 reunion movies and I was psyched when I heard it was coming back. Goodbye JR.
