When I saw this episode, it had been a little over a month since I was diagnosed with diabetes. In the grand scheme of life, diabetes is far more manageable than is the cancer that took Larry Hagman. Diabetes does teach you not to take life for granted as tomorrow is guaranteed to none of us.

The whole episode was a beautiful tribute to not only one of TVs most iconic characters but also an amazing actor! The emotion between all the actors was so genuine both for the newer generation and the remaining cast of the original series

I don't think Jon Ross would have ever been worse than JR. But one thing to keep in mind is that possibly one of the reasons he is so cold and hardened is cause of all the shit he saw his parents go through. Though I'm not sure if they were ever officially divorced. Seeing all that could not have impacted Jon Ross in a good way. But its just my opinion; Im just throwing it out there

What I admired about him was he always seem to be a businessman and seem to have that look in the way he functioned. He was shrewd and deceitful. For a long period of time I thought that's how businesses conducted

can anyone imaging how hard/difficult this scene must have been to play for Linda?

Not only was this show criminally underrated, it could’ve went on just fine without some of the jeweled legends of the original show because that was the entire premise of the reboot-for the next generation to come to rise of the Ewing/Barnes empire and take it over for themselves and this new cast did *just* that. As wonderful as Bobby, JR, Cliff, and Sue Ellen were…these kids were doing an excellent job on their own and this show *didn’t* have to end.

I literally grieved and still do for Larry and I have always loved Linda Gray. She absolutely embodied that character better than anybody could have hands down. It certainly helps that there were such a tremendous friendship behind all of it. All of them seem to have such an amazing chemistry as a group. That show is such an iconic part of our television history back when there were only three major networks and I'll never forget the anticipation of every Friday night to see what would happen next. So hard to lose an amazing actor like he was. Incredibly talented man and regardless of all of his issues in real life with his health and drinking and more, he still managed to carry that entire show. JR and Sue Ellen will always be my favorite couple.

oh just watching that brings back the pain of when the show got cancelled, just like it was yesterday. I loved the original show, watched it with my folks as a child and when the revival happened i was all over it, i loved it. When it was cancelled i hopped on the #SaveDallas bandwagon but sadly no other network ever picked it up. A show died long before its time.
