Linda McCartney sausages 🙌 these have been a staple in my diet for so long - even before I became vegetarian. I buy these at least once a week 😂 such a delicious easy dinner! By far the best veggie sausages around imo 🤩

I've been eating these since forever! Back in the day they were one of the only vegan convenience foods available in supermarkets and I totally relied on them. Still hard to beat, for me. Always have a pack in my freezer! Gorgeous in sarnies too or thinly sliced and mixed through pasta 😋

Haha!!! Linda McCartney are definitely the OGs of vegan food but what I love is that they’re still right up there! They keep refining their existing range and launching awesome new foods

You need to try the Linda McCartney Lincolnshire sausages - they're my absolute favourite vegan sausages. Even my non-veggie partner loves them!

They are an ok vegan sausage. The sage and onion one they do is ten times nicer in my opinion. Great review mate x

When Linda McCartney first launched her vegetarian frozen food range back the 90s, they were truly amazing... bursting with flavour and quality ingredients... I bought them every week, but I can't compare the foods they are selling now, they're horribly bland... not the same quality at all. Recently I bought some pies that had the wrong cooking instructions (they weren't even half cooked when they came out of the oven) I notified the company... the email reply I got was appalling, didn't even acknowledge they'd made a huge error and just sent me vouchers off their products and did nothing to rectify the error on the packaging either. I was so offended by their response I never used the vouchers. I'd truly love to see this company sell the quality they used to, but I can't see that changing... it's all about profit now and nothing else. I suspect the carcinogens the WHO were referring to in sausages were probably sulphites... (even though they may not have explained that in detail) all fresh sausage meat has sulphites added, as do fresh prepared burgers you can buy in a supermarket. It has nothing to do with preservation, but purely to do with maintaining a pink colour. I unknowingly made myself very ill years ago eating relatively healthy vegetarian foods that had added sulphites (dried chillies for example have sulphites added to keep the red colour and some dried fruits like cranberries and apricots also can contain sulphites). Regularly consuming sulphites can be very damaging in a lot of hidden ways. Luckily I worked out what it was that made me really ill and removed all the foods that involved sulphites and made a full recovery from the chronic state of health it left me in. Sulphites destroy thiamin in the body... a severe lack of thiamin can cause so many major health issues and eventually lead to death... not many people are aware that is possible... believe me it really is... I was close to that stage despite eating a relatively healthy diet. Sulphites were literally destroying all the nutrients in my body. Sulphites also destroy oxygen which is the first ailment likely to cause problems... severe lack of oxygen leading to fainting! It's a shame the WHO don't actually explain all of that, but unfortunately, I don't think they want us to know the truth of what is in our foods. Organic meat sausages are the best meat alternative, as they are not permitted to add sulphites and often have a better quality of meat. It's also wise to check even veggie sausages for sulphites because I found some recently that weren't organic and contained sulphites... absolutely crazy... sulphites should never be allowed in food.

I hadn’t had these for a while and was looking forward to them again, but they’re different now, they’re a different colour and pretty bland, the old recipe was really good, such a shame.

They used to be better now because they're so popular because veganism is taken off if they have changed the recipe and now they're not as great as they used to be.
