I wonder if you realise how many people Linda is helping by giving these updates. People suffering from this horrible disease often feel so alone and by Linda sharing her experiences helps them to realise they actually aren’t alone. I’m not a huge fan of the Nolan sisters myself and I agree with you that like many celebrities, they LOVE attention. But in this particular case , I feel that Linda is probably helping a lot of people. This comment was meant to answer a nasty comment by @leswhiting but I haven’t time to repost it.

I love the Nolan sisters, I remember them when I was tiny in the 70’s and my cousin was crazy about them so she always used to bring her Nolan album with her when she was babysitting me, and she would write the lyrics out after listening and listening and listening to the track she wanted to learn 😂😂 coincidentally my best friends daughter has bought a house a few doors down from Ann and Linda. My best friend is originally from Blackpool and I’m from Yorkshire but we met over here in Ireland nearly 30 (eeeshhhh…. I’m getting old) years ago. Her daughter and son decided to move to Blackpool because he wanted to run a hotel and his sister met a guy over there so they’re doing well and my friend and her hubby go visit them when the kids are missing mum and dad. When Bernie passed it felt like losing a friend, because I had loved the Nolan’s and turned into a superfan, and nearly fainted when my friends daughter pointed out of her window the first time I went over to see her new house, and she said ‘I think one of the Nolan family lives there with her hubby’ so now when I go over with my friend I’ll take her grandbaby for a little stroll down the street, but I never see them and even if I did I’d probably scream and hug and cry and scare the bejesus out of them! I’m rarely starstruck, one of my close friends is a well known Irish actor, my husbands brother and sister in law are actors, my sister in law is in a sit com and my brother in law is in films so my parents in law always name drop and I’m used to it now. But the Nolans were my idols, back when the word ‘idol’ meant something!! They very obviously have the cancer gene and it breaks my heart as a woman and a fan to see them so ill. Linda, you’ve got this girl. You’ve fought it before and you’ll fight it again. Ps, I’m sending you loves and hugs from your homeland. Even if you don’t see this I hope you know there are millions of us out in the world praying for you ❤❤❤❤
