Music of this era is not about hooks but real talent, her voice is fantastic not computer generated, music of today lacks this depth The heartbreak 💔 it's shallow and no feeling. You are not the reactor for this music.

Well back in the day, song writers and performers had some thing meaningful to convey through words and music. If it took 3 verses to convey this, so be it. You're right, today's music is short. There's more emphasis on popularity of the artist and to the "beats" than actual song meanings, chord changes, melodies and harmonies if there any. Today's music and doesn't demand the listener to have a long attention span.

I think that you're missing the point, She's not repeating the phrases...she's telling a story, if you just listened to the words. Every phrase is different...and feel the passion in her voice.

Jamal Murray reacts to Linda Rondstadt. Love it. I'm a grown ass man and still ball my eyes out like a mf every time I hear this song. Reminds me of my recently passed mother. Always heard this song on the radio while riding in the backseat as a kid. She even had the vinyl at home. Crazy how I considered it torture listening to soft rock joints from the 70's and 80's back then. And now all these decades later with the trash kids listen to these days...I fully understand and appreciate what my parents heard. Funny how that works.

This was a story teller song. That's why it has 3 sections telling you what is inside of her head. 1st is what went on before. 2nd is what's going on now. 3rd is what's going to happen. I guess you could have done a 30 second version of this song and just called it I'm sad you don't like me.

Nah... You missed the point. Look at the lesson of this song "A love that never was" How many times someone would just go back and back again to that. It becomes an obsession. Hence the repetition. The song keeps changing. (Subtly) but it changes in between the the break on the verses. Love you, hurt me, miss you and back to love you "for a long long time" at the end. 'long time' is the lesson. It takes time to heal... As well as patience (something our kids today lack) everything has to be now... Well guess what... It takes time to learn, heal and wait for a piece of poetry to sink in. Go beyond, is ok, "the message resides between the silence of the notes..." That is "the price we have to pay".

Music is not only the instruments and the voice, it also about the WORDS. Like telling a story!! That's what's wrong with today's music, Hardly a story at all

I'm so disappointed in the comments you made at the beginning. You are also reacting to her voice, her talent. A lot of people who watch reaction videos are listening because of the artist. Then they try to find a content creator they can relate to. They will stay and support the chanel. Try to be more balanced. Please try to be respectful.

It is funny how I looked for the longer version, namely this version. There is a shorter version, that always leaves me looking for more. All part of having lived through this time and having loved Linda like so many of us septuagenarians! ❤❤❤❤

38 hits and 11 Grammys! The first woman to fill stadiums! Her backing band became The Eagles. She is a monster, glad you have discovered her. Next, try a couple of her signature songs "Blue Bayou" "Desperado" and "You're No Good" (#1 on the charts back then), and, and, and!

We used to dance nice and slow with someone you liked or loved… we were in no hurry my friend!😌😉😍 we could feel each others heartbeat and press up against each others face and bodies. You went into dream land. I can still feel dancing with my girl at the time _now my wife- as if it was yesterday.❤❤❤ we were 15 in 1969.

That's the, (I'm gonna clean this up here), most 'unusual' complaint I've ever heard about a song. But, I know what you mean, I thought your reaction was about 6 minutes too long.
