This is one of my favorite climbing videos. I like that it showcases a low-key & unassuming person just trying to do their best, not trying to show off. She doesn't want to waste others' time by telling them she's working on a project. But then, once she's confident she can perform well on this boulder, she then invites her friends which lends them inspiration from seeing how she's grown as a result of overcoming something so difficult. It's very inspiring to be a part of this, even just being a viewer

I love that it was a tripod angle for the actual send. Made it more emotional hearing her and not being able to see her in top. I remember going and feeling the holds and being blown away when I visited haha. My only feedback Eric is that you could have setup the interviews a bit more and really pushed the questions. Trying to get deeper into Linda and this goal. But I really enjoyed this video :)

This was hands down one of the the best climbing videos I have ever seen. The background story, Linda’s humbleness and doubt (that I think many of us can relate to, not just regarding our climbing prowess) when first facing the problem, “[…] Not in the same league as those girls”, followed by her eventually totally crushing it. I’m in a bit of a soppy period, so that might explain part of it, but I was brought to tears when Linda reached for jug and got it. Thanks Linda for sharing your story, reminding us how those immovable and silent rocks can touch us and mean so much for us, not the least when other parts of life can be a struggle; a solid rock one can always return to for solace. And thank you Eric for for this beautifully directed video, I hope you can take in how skilled of a cinematographer you are, and that your many hours and woken nights really pass forward something essential and meaningful to so many of us.

I've been watching all of your videos since the time of the setting of the Black Diamond project and this one has to be one of the very best you made. Props to Linda who is unbelievably strong, such an inspiring story, amazing to see someone with such a positive outlook on climbing succeed in this daring ascent. The quality of the video is breathtaking, the only minor technical issue might be the sound during the interviews of Linda, Emil, Ake and Christopher during the middle segment. Other than that it's absolutely awesome from start to finish. I think what gets me every time in bouldering videos is how simple and deliciously pointless our sport is. The ascent is just a couple of moves and then it's done. Yet, to the eye of the experienced climber (and especially for the people next to the climb who realize how actually steep that thing was), it's incredibly hard and awe-inspiring. The night sequence was so aesthetically pleasing. And the final send at the end is just badass. What an inspiring video at all levels. Congrats to you both!

I don't usually post on KZbin but very occasionally when something special comes along I feel compelled to and this certainly qualifies. Somehow in this short we get so much by way of plot, character-arc and of course action itself so definitely plaudits to Eric for a great edit. I've been watching EKB for years now and always think of how quiet I remember Linda being in videos (maybe I mis-recall; I'll have to go back through the back-catalogue) so when I saw the title I was shocked. Such an achievement on an absolute king-line and a couple of the moves are absolutely god-like.
