How did Baz leave her out of the Elvis movie!? She was so so pivotal from 72 to 76! The fact that she speaks so well of him after all these years says so much.
@ellenw391 Жыл бұрын
Well, that's easy....one word...Priscilla. She acts (and has embedded herself) as Elvis' widow, not EX wife!! It's why she stripped Graceland of every bit of change that Linda & Elvis made, except for the pool/game room. Granted the red was dated and ugly, but that has nothing to do with why every trace was removed from public view IMHO. Look how closely Cilla worked with Baz. I always hoped that Lisa Marie would take more of an interest in being the public face and voice of Graceland, and I've always wondered if she did so little by choice or her Mom's desires. It was why I was SO glad to see her, solo, at his recent birthday. Who would believe just a few days later she would tragically be gone too soon. Just heartbreaking.

She speaks very eloquently. She was probably one of Elvis's great loves. She was so good for him.

I wish Linda Thompson would have stayed with Elvis Presley. He might still be here. She really loved and cared about him. 💞 Unlike some of the other women he went with.

His family says he told them after they broke up that he knew Linda would always be there for him, that if he ever needed her she would stop and come help him. He also told her brother Sam “I want you to know that Linda and I aren’t done yet, our story isn’t over.” I honestly think they would have ended up back together down the road. I’ve read Gingers book and I think he loved her too, but their age difference was probably something that would have really had a negative impact on them, in the end we will never know but I truly think he and Linda were the ones that made there way back, especially after her marriage to Bruce fell apart.

I think Elvis knew when someone was getting tired of “mothering” him. He knew when they were getting fed up or wanting a “normal life” while I understand but at the same time it seems sad that Elvis could never find someone that would NEVER give up on him

So she wanted a family and ended up with someone who really wanted to be a woman all his life,so sad for her she really went from bad to worse,as pretty and as smart as she seems to be she still got had by the men she fell in love with.Elvis was a handsome man,but he really should have stayed single his whole life or until he was sure of the right one,oh well i guess none of us are perfect and we all have made mistakes in our lives,so i guess it is a part of our lives to screw up and some of us get a second chance and then some of us don't.I hope Linda has finally found much happiness in her life now,she so deserves to.Thank you for the honesty of your time with Elvis it was nice to know that he knew he was self destructive and shared that with you,after all he was human and knew what he was doing to himself and to the loved ones in his life.He was a very lonely man and he knew deep down all the money in the world was not the answer to a happy and peaceful life,he knew he could never have what we all call a normal life,his fate was cealed the day he became the biggest rock star in the world and as far as i am concerned he still is.R.I.P. Elvis cannot believe it has been 43 years that you left us in tears and heartbreak Hotel.You are still loved and missed so very much!❤😥🙏

Linda, you are a special human being, what you said is so profound,sesnsitive and sincere that you deserve all my admiration and gratitude for caring and loving Elvis so much. Nobody had done what you did. You would have been the rightest wife to him. Too bad! I would like to tell you that when he claimed all his love to you, I'm sure he didn't lie,he was going to see another girl, because he was totally attracted by the female universe that he was eager to discover, not always for sex.You know that at the very beginning of his popularity he made sex with whoever girl was at his feet, so that he had to be hospitalized, but when he grew up, he realized that sex without love was worthless. If you were in bed that fatal night, you would have checked him out and who knows?.....
