Every time I see Linda on a show or being interviewed on radio , she makes me laugh . I can't help it . She's just hoot . I like her. I'm glad people like her share there stories about Elivs Presley . My family and I all loved Elivs , so I appreciate them telling their stories and writing their books so he won't be forgotten once they are all gone . They knew him the best and people like me that didn't really know Elvis personally will be able to keep these memories that they all share going on for generations to come . I’d read her book about her life and how interesting she must be to captivate men who can have any woman in the world but all choose her. Linda is the total package in a woman. Remember Elvis could have any woman he wanted in the world and he chose Linda. As a Montrealer I was 17 in 1976 and I recall seeing Jenner as a decathlon athlete at the Olympic stadium . Incredible athlete but in life you never know and I never knew she married Jenner. Elvis only married 1 woman, had 1 wife in his lifetime and it was Priscilla. As far as “choosing Linda”, Elvis was seeing Barbara Leigh, Mindi Miller, Sheila Ryan, Diana Goodman, etc and several other women at the same time he was dating Linda. Then he quickly hooked up with Ginger Alden in 1976 and chose to pursue her rather than be with Linda. So Elvis chose those women too!🤣

I can really feel where you are both coming from. I was a wallflower when I was younger, a little overweight and not a real "looker", but I really came into my own in my 20's. I don't say this to be prideful, but I loved to entertain and even became a state "Miss" and a regional a few years later, competing for Miss USA. I met a man when I was Miss "XYZ" USA (trying to be discreet) and thought he was the man of my dreams. He was always so kind hearted and sweet- we've been together coming on 24 years. The last few years have been really rough on me though-- I have had health problems of my own that have prevented me from working (and I ways the breadwinner most of our marriage). Then as if my medical issues weren't enough, I lost a string of relatives in a very short time frame (almost my whole family has passed, even my only sibling and his wife, and my last Aunt is in stage 4 cancer). I have no one, but my husband and our mutual friends and family he has not isolated me from. Not even two months after my brother passed, he announced he was seeing someone else, but only had known them two weeks. Well, gradually the story has changed and I secretly found out that July is their 2 year "anniversary" (at a minimum). He was doing this behind my back while I was at my worst and my brother was dying of cancer. I just am still gob smacked. I can't believe it and this sweet man has turned evil as hell. He said he is leaving because he is "bored with me and doesn't want to be someone's caretaker". Did I mention I WILL get better and the man is now finished his degree in health care and is now making the money? I think he has lost his damn mind. There is also no discussing it and he is not willing to do therapy. I honestly had no idea he was even close to this unhappy or this amoral. I am getting better slowly, but it has shaken me to my core. He expects me to go on disability and says if I hire an attorney he will, "fight me until we lose everything", knowing I have no one but him left. I just don't get it. I don't know if it's men or just people in general, but people just don't seem to be faithful anymore. We know people, women included, that have been married 2-4 times some of them. I never dreamed that at going on 48 in a few months, I would be disabled and starting life over. I gave this man everything and I guess never really knew the real him. I joke that I may just form a companion type live-in relationship with one of my girlfriends and be roommates and "family" together and just give up on romantic relationships. Stay positive though girls. We never know what door may open or what the future may be. I just want to be happy and love ME again, not get back into dating as I'm going into my 50's. I have been watching insprational videos on KZbin and trying to just be at peace. I really like some aspects of the Abraham Hicks videos and find that the message is largely compatible with religion, IMHO. Good luck ladies and stay strong!
