I've bought myself a Sanitas Infrarotlampe at Rossmann for cca 10€. I believe that Sanitas is the same as Beurer, since they're manufactured by the same company. Unfortunately, in the instructions it doesn't say anything about the wavelengths. However, it's definitely emitting heat. Even at a recommended 60cm distance, it still feals pretty hot. I wonder if such devices should be used by people with birthmarks considering all before mentioned?

If there was an issue with birth marks, there would be a warning. But the heat emitting Infrarot-Lampen aren't the same as these devices here.

@@DoctorAnne Ugh, they're really pricey. I'll wait for the Black Friday deals and probably get myself a face panel. What's your opinion on Methylen blue in skincare?

@@anaana-ze8rd I haven't checked if there is newer data for skincare I am not familiar with, but I personally stick to the ingredients we have more robust data on. It is getting traction because it is getting popularity in biohacking, but that isn't something I can comment on.

Thanks Dr Anne! I love LED treatments, maybe it's finally time for me to get an at home device. I love using an in office device from Aesthetic Solutions called lumi8 which has a very calming and slow pulsating effect and gets me into that powernap state too haha
