I make this bread at least once a week or more and in my pullman pan. I also slice it thick when I first get up on Sunday morning and is ready to use for french toast by the time my husband wakes up. I also substitute some of the bread flour with 1 and 1/2 cups of white whole wheat (King Arthur) flour and 1/4 cup of ground flax meal (also King Arthur).

Thank you Linda for the video, because of you I have also been introduced to Noreen's Kitchen. I made this bread yesterday and it is nearly gone. This is the first homemade bread I have ever wanted to eat as a sandwich and after it cooled. Usually I only like homemade bread when it is still warm from the oven but this is very yummy and came out with a great crust. Thank you again.

Linda, I have the Bosch Universal Plus, I think it is the same as Noreen's. I've had mine for 3 1/2 years. If you can love an inanimate object then I'm in love with it. I have had a Kitchen Aid but it is no match for the Bosch. The other day I tripled this recipe from Noreen & made 4 large cinnamon pull apart loaves, I could have made a 5th loaf cause mine were so large. They were just beautiful. My husband & daughter each took one to work & I shared one with my former coworkers. Everyone just loved it. Such good holiday bread. If you have a Bosch machine then you can make several loaves at a time in it.

Oh my gosh that's wonderful bread! It was a cold snowy day here in Oklahoma and I couldn't resist trying this recipe. It's defiantly going into my cookbook as a keeper! The dough was so light and silky to work with. The finish product was amazingly airy and light with a good flavor. For me the big bonus is its really cheap to make and very easy also.

Age of kitchenaid the second letter of the serial number is the year. Like 1999 is J 2000 is K. Find that letter and go backwards from J. The first 2 numbers after the year tells the week it was made. So like if it says 52 it was made the last week of the year.

Linda, this looks easy. Thanks for sharing. I follow Noreen and Heather. Just a tip. You cover your dough to protect it from drafts. I live in Alaska, making bread in extreme cold means protecting your yeast at all stages. Stay warm and keep posting. Happy Holidays

Try spelt flour in your bread. It adds a delicious flavor and additional nutritional benefits. I much prefer it to whole wheat flour. Dough conditioner will help the loaf stay fresh longer.

Your machine looks like mine which is a K45. Those were made between 1962 and 1979. In 1979 they replaced it with the K45SS (solid state) which had a slightly different mechanism in the gear lever. Both were manufactured by Hobart.

I bet you are getting a Pullman Pan!

I've been making our bread for quite awhile, you are right, why pay a premium price for what you can make for pennies. We raise wheat, so I grind my own whole wheat flour. Yes, it's best not to cut your bread right from the oven, but nothing tastes better. I'm on the hunt for a multi-grain bread recipe

I subscribe to you and Noreen, I think y'all are amazing women. Noreen's bread was the first I ever made 3 months ago and we have not bought bread since, so versatile. If you're looking into a new mixer check out the Bosch mixer, Noreen would agree with me super awesome. I'm married to a native German and Chef de Cave, all of our appliances are German made and all amazing products. Just an FYI, HEHEHE...... Now my husband will not cook since I have discovered you 2 awesome women..... lol 😂He says he will only eat German food when in Germany 🇩🇪...... I guess this down home southern bell won him over with Chicken and Dumplings. Y'all both have given me the inspiration and courage to branch out and dehydrate as well as canning I thank you for that. Keep inspiring and the videos coming. God Bless 🙏🏻😉

The cast iron pans are from Lodge...BUT... Lodge does not make them anymore. If you find one in thrift store or antique store grab it. The pans are for a 4" by 8" loaf and usually make a beautiful light crust.
