The xrap4 in black/silver is my all time favorite for brook trout in the 20"+range. I guide from canoes in the boundary water canoe area so a good versatile durable lurw is key. One mod i do to ALL of my lures is replace the treble hooks with saltwater inline single hooks. Id be willing to bet that hookups are not diminished at all and it reduces hooking fish in the face and eyes so they can be released. Plus in a canoe its easier to remove single hooks vs trebles.

Victory series. Coming from a huge croix fan, this is the first hearing of this. I'm equipped with 2 LTs an avid and 2 premiers. My head was clearly in the sand in this one. Thank you linder for the video!🎣

I have that exact lure on the thumbnail of this video. And in one weeks time I’ve caught about 50 crappie and some bass the biggest being 2.7 pounds.

I love your videos. Curious if you tie direct to the split ring or use a clip.

Always have a shad rap or x rap or both tied on. Blister trout and bass with them. When the big stuff wears me out and I need a fish ima grab the shad or x rap.

I'm curious about the color of the bait Troy shows at 7:26. It looks like "River Perch", but the one I have in that pattern (which I bought several years ago) has a different type eye, far less pronounced vertical gold bar highlights, and way more orange on the belly. Is Troy's bait a custom job or did Rapala change the "River Perch" pattern at some point? Great looking bait !
@LindnerMedia2 жыл бұрын
It's the regular River Perch pattern, and the one in the video, as he says, "has a lot of miles on it".

Don't worry Al. The last time I took my daughter fishing she caught the First fish, the biggest fish, the most fish and the last fish. All she had to do was sit in her chair, listen to an audiobook and reel in the fish, while I peddled us around on my Hobie all day.
