Me too. I wasn't expecting to have such an emotional reaction at all. I think it's because we all grew up watching her, but most of us were too young to understand what she was going through in her personal life and the media. She went through it all under immense scrutiny, during a time the media was treating young starlets problems as fodder: her, Paris, Brittney, etc. She needed good fans that wouldn't judge, and we were too young to understand, much less be part of the conversation. Seeing her now doing well feels so good. And we can give her that love, understanding and support now!

Nah Robert Downey Jr had completely diffident experience and became one of the the highest paid actor of all time. Lindsay was much much younger when she faced scrutiny and essentially blacklisted. She had mental health issues and was under enormous amount of pressure - any substance use was just a symptom of that & self-medication. Male stars with troubles or some sort of a questionable behaviour always get way more slack. Charlie Sheen had Thousands of chances not just getting involved with substance & hard partying but really abusive & aggressive behaviour as well. He eventually started losing roles got re-hired then fired again but was the highest paid TV actor at one time. People saw him more like a messy “rockstar” it gave him an edge rather than scrutiny for the longest time.

WOW, I mean I love this! Seeing Lindsay Lohan all healthy and grown up, like this was beautiful. I was a big fan of hers growing up and then of course, we all saw her struggling years. I didn't really see a proper return to her career anytime soon.
