She's quite healthy though and her mother was 102 plus her sense of duty. You never know, though. My own grandparents died about 10 days apart. They were 95 and 93. They did very well until a year or two before they died when my grandfather's health started failing followed by my grandmother's. Near the end they were in side by side hospital style beds. We think my grandmother was still aware enough to know my grandfather was gone. She was the most quietly stubborn person I've ever known. We thought she'd live to 100, but they were always the best of companions, and she didn't want to live without him.

The Queen might live a while longer, actually. Nancy Reagan for example was devastated by her husband's death, but she lived like 10 years more. FFS. Why not assume the family was prepared for Philip’s eventual death? He was 99 years old.... Why sadness? There is nothing to be sad about. The man lived a fulfilling and healthy life into advanced age. He died peacefully at home. What more could any human ask for? This morosely Victorian notion of ‘sadness upon death’ needs to be replaced with a celebration of the deceased’s life, especially in cases of elderly individuals whom have ‘exceeded mechanical limits.’ ‘Strength to cope’ with the death of a 99 year old man, indeed. This was an expected death, not a tragic death...

Its basically just the Philip section from her queens and consorts of england serise that she just posted yesterday, so she probably just edited it a bit added some more information so it wasn't the same video and posted it again pretty easy,

You can tell,sounded very similar and if you listen to the last 30 seconds, the pitch of her voice changed Indicating that she added that on

Very tasteless to upload this immediately, like she did it just for the views. Tactless

Let's just pause a minute to reflect on this man. Whether you loved him or hated him at the very least he deserved our respect for many things. His early life was difficult & not privileged as I've heard some people say. He was a decorated naval officer from WW2 & married the Queen fully knowing his life was not going to be his.. They were married 73 years which is a feat in itself all the while walking two paces behind his wife after she took the throne. I couldn't & wouldn't of wanted a life of servitude & constant scrutiny by the media & public. Let him rest in peace he has deserved that right.

To everyone wondering why this video was able to come out so quickly, most of it is from the last episode of Lindsay's Queens & Consorts series, with a few additions

You either created this video in a Mornig, or you had this ready from a long time.
@HallowqueenCrafting3 жыл бұрын
Most of it is copy/paste from her video that went up yesterday about the Modern queens and consorts. I wouldn't be surprised if she already had this mostly loaded up and ready to go to be posted for his 100th birthday coming up in june, and hte last 30 seconds is an obvious re-voice over. Add new voice over for the last bit, and make a quick thumbnail, then upload to youtube. Pretty easy to do.
@yesie83753 жыл бұрын
Don’t be surprised if the Queen passes soon. That usually happens that way. Specially since they’ve been together more than 70 years. She was with him since before she turned 21 that’s a whole life time with someone
