Somebody shine a light, I'm frozen by the fear in me. Somebody make me feel alive and shatter me. So cut me from the line, Dizzy, spinning endlessly. Somebody make me feel alive and shatter me.

Hn. Doubt she studied Violine, not the best techniques... but nice pop for violine. Saw some trained violinists copying her music and it sounded quite a bit better though. But they would never come up with her tunes. So maybe she's a bit like Bob Dylan in terms of skills. Very glad to have discovered her, makes me wanna pick up a violine and play again and write my own music. But fantastic play this is not, don't quite understand the other comments tbh.

She actually studied to become a psychologist! :) and tbh as a violinist, I find her techniques to be super clear and precise, I wish I could play that well lol

@@JohnIsRandomKZbinChannel strange, as all violinists I know and myself find her technical skills below average. 3-4 years of playing an hour a day and you might play better than her. Check this out: a professional violinist- I hope you can see and hear the difference. It's huge. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5-6pGtqhah_ndk

Seriously? Lindsey started at age 6 (30 years ago). She was Classically trained for the first 12 years. Then she got burned out on it. She lost her passion. So, she did two things. 1) She started to play the songs that SHE liked. Lindsey wanted to create the New...NOT regurgitate the Old. She wanted FUN songs. Not the stale, old songs that your grandpappy used to rock in his rocking chair to. 2) Lindsey started to add dancing to her playing. She did that 18 years ago. The problem is that her stats prove you wrong. She has to be Excellent, otherwise, she would not have the stats she has.13.6 Million subs, 3.5 Billion views, 131 music videos, 200+ misc. videos, 24 Violins, and she has toured the world many times over. A lot more than YOU even. They say to be an Expert at something, you need 10,000 hours. Lindsey has 30,000 hours. Every show and concert has been SOLD OUT. Why, if she wasn't great at it? Would you buy a ticket to a fake/bad show? And she will NEVER have to work another day (9 to 5) in her life. This is how it began... When Lindsey was about 5 years old, her father would take Her family (mom and 2 sisters) to free orchestral concerts in the city. Lindsey said that the first-chair violinist always tuned the orchestra and got the big solos. She saw that as being the Star of the show. Lindsey would beg her parents for violin and dance lessons. They could not afford both, so after going to one class each, she decided on the violin. Lindsey started with a rented violin because they couldn’t afford one. And since age 6 (1992), she has been violining to this day, (30 years). She was trained in Classic Violin for the first 12 years. Then one day in High School, she needed money for college, so she entered the Arizona Junior Miss Pageant. She noticed that around 6 other violinists were competing. She wanted to win, so she added dance to her playing. She wanted to entertain and perform, not just impress everyone. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXrTkIRqebZrq7c Of course, she won. After that, she decided to play the music she likes. She started adding hip-hop, then EDM, then dubstep. She has always practiced her violining...half an hour to an hour, 6 days a week. After she would practice, she would reward herself by playing something she wanted. She has said the key is perseverance. Actually, she learned how to dance through KZbin videos. Growing up, Lindsey and her 2 sisters would dance to the Classical records their parents would play. Lindsey has always loved to dance. Lindsey was on Dancing With The Stars and Dance Showdown. And Lindsey has had about a week of Tap and a week of Ballet. Lindsey also learned a little from friends and choreographers. Lindsey was born to dance. 😂 See? Anyone can stand around and play Bach. How many can play AND dance to Michael Jackson? So, don't downplay or underestimate Lindsey's abilities or talent because she can literally run circles around you and any other violinist.
