Watch her St. Moritz SAG run. She was cautious for the first sections, even made a couple small mistakes. She was among the fastest four to six or so at the last two checkpoints. Don't forget, she is pain free and, at the height of her success, was near unbeatable in the DH.... and close to as good in SG. I hope she limits her risks. IMO, she will be back on the podium soon enough!

There is actually no limit on age to return to racing. You see I think there is a difference in mindest. we all know that at a certain age you are not or cannot be fit as when you were young. I believe she has a mindset, which is different to others like Hirscher. Reason she had bad injuries during her carried and she knows what it means to race when it hurts and the level of concentration you need to overcome to keeping racing. She feels good know and feels she can still keep up. I think at women’s racing level she can keep up as she has a very high level technique. She always loved high speed so no issue for her. Different for males, where a Hirscher can (could) try to keep up in Slalom but nit Giant Slalom. „Leave her alone“ let her do what she wants to do. In the end important is she is happy and she keeps safe. For others it is envy.

Love Lindsey but there is a HUGE difference between 12th & 1st... TWELVE other competitors and the fastest of the fast, Mikaela, was out for those races. Wishing Vonn great success when she does fully return but just getting a few podiums won't be that easy
