They are now on their 2nd Anniversary and this video is also a showcase of one of the major battle that took place in the pacific, The Battle of Midway Atoll. And a bit of origin story of one of the characters.

The sinking poster shipgirl is Yorktown, she is the lead ship of the Yorktown class Carrier consisted of 3 ships: Yorktown, Enterprise and Hornet. Historically and in game, she sank fighting and sinking Hiryuu, the last surviving carrier of the Midway's Kido Butai. The ship who led Yorktown and Hornet, the one in the middle and wearing the US Naval Officer Cap is Enterprise, the legendary WW2 carrier that defeated the mighty Kido Butai and forever turn the tide of the Pacific war. The one that carry the guns was Portland, a US Heavy Cruiser survive unbelievable odds during her career in the Pacific. She and Enterprise are among the most decorated Naval Vessel in WW2, both are also orphan of their class as all their sister sank during the Pacific war. Hornet is the blonde, western dressed shipgirl. despite what you might think, her dressing is due to the Washington Naval Treaty, USS Hornet was build upon less tonnage than her sisters. She is famous as the carrier that carried the Doolittle Raid(An important part of the in-game story), her fighting at Midway and met her end at Santa Cruz Island. The Cat Ear girl the Sims Class Destroyer Hamman, like Yorktown she sank together after being torpedoed by I-168(Iroha) after Hamman trying to safe Yorktown from sinking during the Battle of Midway. In the in-game story, Yorktown sank at Midway, while Hornet sank at the Santa Cruz Island, leaving Enterprise as the sole surviving sister of the Yorktown class carrier, only the leadership of Saratoga (also the last survivor of the Lexington Class Carrier) prevent Enterprise from losing herself for her loss. The Blue Hair girl in the last part of the video is Essex class carrier Essex. Historically she and her Essex class sisters, along with Enterprise and Saratoga deliver the crushing blow and sank the legendary battleship Yamato. Although in game Essex and her sisters(currently Interprid, Bunker Hill and Shangri-la) mainly fight an alien entity that threaten humanity. The little girl at the furthest in the last part of the video is a Gato Class Submarine, Albacore. Albacore and Cavalla are famous for sinking 2 carriers, Taihou and Shokaku.

It’s fitting that Enterprise gets so much fanfare. Her story in-game is very interesting, but it makes sense she’s the poster girl (in EN servers). She is a legend, albeit forged from loss, anger, and wrath. Her story is very much akin to an anime protagonist.

well this video video is about USS Yorktown and the whole Yorktown-class aircraft carrier... which is possibly one of the most depressing aircraft carrier class I've read about... like 2 died and the last one just stayed throughout the war without any sisters to depend on and in Azur lane she almost turned into a META ship which is a ship that's extremely depressed... so extreme depression + depression = depression³... yeah that's Alterprise(META Enterprise)

Some plot for this video: The sinking girl is Yorktown, aircraft carrier for the US navy, who was heavily damaged in the battle of Midway. Enterprise feels like the Sakura Empire was planning something.. Worried about her sister, she sets off. Hammann had just started escorting the battred Yorktown to port on tow. In came the the sub I-168 releasing her torpedo's screaming "Sink for me!". Just as one of the torpedo's is about to hit Hammann, Enterprise is there, snapping the ropes with an mighty shot of her bow. By the lost weight, Hammann falls super cute face-first into the water. Yorktown has already began sinking, but enterprise dives after her, reaching out... *Roles the video*

I find this song so ironic besides not playing the game, but I've watched the anime. Course I love your songs Lindsey. Anywho long story short: I've been dealing with a lot of stress and things that I try to control like walls trying to close me in. Tend to be reactive than proactive. Anxiety. Think of myself weak. Then a fellow Libra gave me the encouragement to let go of everything and simply focus on what makes me truly happy. Priority: me. And stated that God has plans for me in the long run; I've always been distant from Him, but that one phrase in the song *"Know that you will never be unloved by me."* *"I know what you're made of."* Ultimately, this song sure tells me that no matter how much I push God away, He pulls me toward him knowing that I'm dealing with such chaos and hardships that He knows that I'm capable to keep on fighting/overcoming them. Humanity must evolve and only conflict can make that happen. Only once humanity has evolved can the Sirens evolve and become more like their Creator. So the greatest conflict in our world must be played out again and again and again. And these girls have to fight and watch each other die again and again. Always, for some, there is a question. Is this all that I am? And then one of the Sirens looks at the chessboard they've made and does not like what she sees. She picks up her king, while the others aren't looking, and fashions a new one. Places it down on the board. And watches as all the pawns become queens.

I get what you're trying to go for, however you do remember and realize that Yorktown, Hornet and Hammann are all sunk IRL and for now in "main" story as well, correct? Honestly , Yorktowns dont get enough credit how tough they where. Yes , USN dmg control training and implementation deserves a lot of credit but the ships where well designed , especially for treaty ships and excellently built .
