Line 6 Pod Go - Global Settings Overview

Here’s a quick look at the Global Settings on the Line 6 Pod Go.
I realized after recording the video that I was calling this the the global eq page. It’s the global settings page. Sorry for the confusion!

@@brandontholt Thanks for reply! Hope you don’t mind me bugging you with one more question. I made snapshots on all 4 blocks, and I made the rhythm part on #1 and lead part on #3. Is there a way to move #3 to #2 without redoing it from beginning, or messing up the other snapshots? Found it to hard to press #3 from #1 when changing to lead part. Can’t find anything in manual, or a video

The only way you can really make this happen is by copying a snapshot and pasting it to another. Unfortunately, by doing this. You will lose the snapshot you copy over. You might be able to copy snapshots to another preset to keep it then make the adjustments to the song you're on then go to that new preset you copied everything over and copy over what you want. Hopefully that makes sense!

In the Global settings can you take remove the volume from the pedal. I've had an issue with my peddle not staying in volume and red light coming on AFTER switvhing it to volume. Just would rather disiegage the pedal. Thank yoiu.

The food switch can either be a volume or a wah pedal. I don’t believe you can kill the pedal completely. The pedal is super touch sensitive so it’ll change between the volume and wah (red light you’re seeing) if you press down too hard

the tempo in the global configuration can be selected for each diferent preset?

Yes! Each preset can have a different tempo. The easiest way to achieve that is by just setting the tempo within each preset you’re working in.

Hey! How do I set up the volume pedal so if the volume is all the way down, it stays down as I switch from preset to preset until I open the volume again with the volume pedal? I got it to work on each preset I built, but if the volume on the volume pedal is down and I switch presents, then I have to move the volume pedal to get it to work on other preset.

Hey! Try having your volume pedal down at 0% then save your preset. It’s supposed to save all settings based on where they’re at. I wonder if your volume pedal was up when the other presets were saved

@@brandontholt But then when I saved the presets with the volume pedal down at 0%, the other presets have no volume until I move the volume pedal again. Frustrating for sure!

Weird! I can’t say I’ve noticed that until you mentioned it. Hopefully they change that setting in an update!

@@brandontholt Some guys on a Line 6 FB group recommended to change the settings to global rather than preset. That should make the volume pedal the exact same on all presets. Let me know how it goes!

On Global EQ, what is the difference between "Freq, Q, Gain"?

Hey, Javier. The Global EQ works like an EQ band where you can adjust the gain (volume) and tone of the overall sound. The Pod Go manual can explain it in further detail! :)

hi !!! is it possible to use the expression pedal to move between two presets, in exemple, going from an accoustic sound to an overdrive one ?

An expression won’t be able to change presets but you can simply tap the preset button to go between patches

I know that, what i want to do is smoothly change from accoustic to distortion, i think i found out hownto do it...by assigning the expression pedal to the distortion in the same preset......

lets say i hooked up a backing track via aux in and record, will it record the audio from the aux in too ? and when recording can i monitor the signal trough the headphones out ?

Good question. I’ve never tried to do something like that. I would imagine if the backtracks were somehow going through your final signal, it would pick it up as well as your guitar and you would be able to record it. I’m not 100% sure of that though.
