Line Fire (2024 Sept 5th-8th)

Here is a summary Update of #LineFire in the #SanBernardinoMountains that started in the City of Highland on 09/05/2024. Fire has spread to 17,237 acres as of 09/07/2024 at 11:30PM. Zero containment as of the time of this report/posting. Credit given to all who shared the video and images of this incident.

Evacuation Level 3 ordered for the communities in Running Springs, Green Valley Lake, and Arrowbear Lake, including area east of Orchard Road to Cloverhill Drive from Highland Ave. north to the foothills. Road closures on Highway 18 from Highway 38 (Big Bear Dam) to Kuffel Canyon Road in Skyforest, Highway 330 from Highland Avenue to Highway 18 in Running Springs, as reported by Cole Euken (09/07/2024 at 6:42pm).
Communities of Cedar Glen, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, and Valley of Enchantment are under Evacuation Warning.
Current conditions of the fire provided by the Quick Reaction Force (QRF), and may be viewed via Watch Duty or KZbin.

What I see on this north on HWY 330 footage is that most of it is out. Not many real time updates. Praying for rain with no lightning, and for the safety of all firefighters.

We will wait for VP Fire Photography to update us with the latest drive-by, now that the fire has spread to 17,459+ acres with zero containment.

Thank you, @WhatwillbeM6825. Per Fire.CA.gov, the fire has spread to 20,553 acres. Evacuation orders have been issued to Calle Del Rio, Greenspot Road, East of Hwy 330 to Summertrail, Running Springs, Arrowbear, Garnett, and the Mountain Home Village. Evacuation warnings for Green Valley Lake, Cedar Glen, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, and Valley of Enchantment has been posted. @@TavisolaMBARealtor We lived in north San Berdoo in 2003. Our house survived but most of our neighborhood was destroyed in the Old Fire. We did get evacuated.

The town of Running Springs is fine. The fire spread up the 330 but luckily didn’t reach the town or burn any homes. I was covering the fire for my station yesterday.
