@@laxmandake6524 Decide on a starting frequency one decade below the least corner frequency, then draw the starting slope line & ensure that this line should pass through the k value (6.02 dB) at w=1. Draw the new slope lines at every corner frequency.

I have a doubt. You drew the the 6.02 db line which is the basis for the other +20 or -20 db/decade. What to do if the question doesn't have a constant factor like 10/5 =2? How do we determine this gain then?

@@RPT-i3rDraw a line with the starting slope. Starting slope will be the slope corresponding to poles or zeros at origin if it is present otherwise it will be slope corresponding to the lowest corner frequency term.

If k is not given, plot the bode plot assuming k=1 and find the value of k from gain margin using the equation, 20 log k= GM dB or shift the plot as per the conditions given, if any.

1 & 5 are the corner frequencies. You can find corner frequencies from the factors in the time constant form. For first order factor of the form (1+sT), it is found by wc=1/T.

Phase Margin is the additional phase lag which can be introduced into the system so as to bring the system to the verge of instability at gain crossover frequency. Gain crossover frequency is the frequency at which the magnitude becomes 1 (0 dB) in Bode plot.

Phase Margin is the additional phase that can be added to the system to bring it to the verge of instability. For CL stability, mag=1 (0dB) & angle= -180 degree. Hence 180 degree is considered.

GM is the gain at phase crossover frequency (frequency at which phase angle becomes -180 degree). It can be found as the difference between 0dB & the gain at point of intersection at Wpc.

The slope for first order pole is -20dB/decade. Gain in decibels for pole at origin is found by 20 log (1/w) dB. At w=1, gain is 0 dB & at w=10, gain is -20dB hence slope is -20dB/decade.
