Please please please cover freewill by Rush... Neil Peart's drumming is just so perfect and bang on - phenomenal piece (and so many time signature changes)

Good suggestion. could you put that in the comments section (lunchroom) on the website? I"ll be picking from that list soon.

The Aristocrats - Furtive Jack? The Aristocrats is kind of impossible for me to play, but I'm quite sure you can do it. Their music is so complex yet amazing :D

Hello ..just picking this up again and teacher wants to change me to open handed. This obviously feels very foreign but he insists it is the way to go especially in the context of improving my left hand....What to do ? I'm not on board but at the same time want to get better. Your advice

I would love to hear something that YOU enjoy playing. What's your inspiration, matey? Music is music...and drum are drums. The era/style is irrelevant (imho) :)

You got it Rob. I've worked for a few months on something that hands down is what I enjoy the most out of anything I've done. It's playing to the song "19 days" by Gavin Harrison. Just finished shooting it and it will be up in about a week. Let me know what you think.

Virgil Donati?

bradburyrobinson Thanks. I wanted to look him up, but i couldn't figure out how to spell his name.
@Scottjazz5510 жыл бұрын
bradburyrobinson . That's the guy. Thanks for helping with that post. He is from Australia. I've seen him three times live. I tell folks that if Mozart was alive today and playing drums....that's who he would come back as. In fact one of the times I saw Virgil live, there happened to be a piano on the side of the stage. During a Q & A session someone asked him if he could play the piano. He went over and began playing the most intense, complex harmonies/melodies I had ever heard. The whole crowd just stood up and cheered. Yeah....that's Virgil.....

I would like to see you play Lavila Strangiato by Rush. I probably didn't spell it right.
@Scottjazz559 жыл бұрын
+johnny ste I just listened to it on KZbin. Very nice. I will try to get to it as I like it first off. It has a lot of drumming that interests me. It's spelled La Villa Strangiato so you were pretty close. Thanks again for that idea.

I competed in the first round of the Guitar Center Drum Off. It's uploaded on my profile and would like your opinion on what I need to work on. I know there is a service you provide to get paid and I can do it that way too. Any advice would be great!

Save Me - Avenged Sevenfold (played by Mike Portnoy). You have a double bass pedal, so it should be possible :)
@Scottjazz5510 жыл бұрын
Good choice. Please put it in the comment section (lunchroom) www.drumprofessor.net/lunchroom on the site as I will be picking from that list. PS. I just shot a video about double bass using "Burn it down" Avenged Sevenfold song. It will be up on the homepage shortly :)
