True story: before I came to my own understanding of who I am…I was asked to be another wife to a Muslim polygamous married man. And before I said “NO” I asked how do you think this would be possible? And he informed me that I would be well taken care of, and all his wives have to have equal opportunities in financial, living quarters and he would be accessible to all of us, no one is less than the other. Yes...there are a few regions & cultures where Polyandry is practiced. It can be found in parts of Tibet, parts of India and a few other places. But it's far more rare than men with multiple wives. Unions of multiple people is still very much a part of various cultures around the world. There are even a few youtube channels with creators in multiple partner unions.

It was about wealth and having multiple children. Today in certain countries they can still have multiple wives. As far as a woman having multiple husbands and sleeping with them she would never be sure whose the father of her children. Men would know who each child's mother is there would be no question.
