I have a Level 3 CGM and I find that the first 2 days can be really wonky and erratic in my readings. I'm currently comparing my Level 3 to the Stelo and much like you see, my Stelo usually reads higher by around 10 mg/dL. Sometimes, though, they are nearly the same. I have 2 days left of comparison before my Level 3 expires. Wish the Lingo was available for Android, but for now will try the Stelo. I got 2 units.

oops! update my screen went back to today and I can't scroll the screen back to yesterday. I guess I will have to call lingo and find out what I did. It's odd that today when you order something the instructions don't tell you very much about how to use all the things it can do. sometimes you can find a KZbin video the company has made but rarely. you end up having to relay on random people telling how the product works and they don't always know themselves. thank for your video. I was getting ready to buy a stelo because I didn't know about the lingo. after watching your vid I decided to go with the lingo. I'm a recent pre-diabetic and tried to get a cgm but could not get a prescription and it was quite expensive. I fingers were getting numb from all the finger pricks trying to learn about what foods were best for me.

I also got very low readings the first night with my Lingo, but after that the readings seemed more ‘normal’. I’ve had the Lingo on for six days now.

Wow your video is so informative :) Thank you so much. If you don't mind can you please tell us about your general impression as well. Such as stiffness in your arm with lingo or stelo.

When I got my lingo after a few days I loosing my graph everyday. I could not figure out how to look back. Accidentally I touched something and now I can see back. I have no idea what I did.

BTW, are you ever going to go back to doing product reviews of everyday items -- kitchen stuff, etc.? I was just curious. . .
@parristx2 ай бұрын
Yes, I actually have a stack of stuff to review- just need to get around to doing those types of reviews again.

Thanks for this review! I just finished one of my Stelo sensors and am trying the Lingo now. My only beef with Lingo is that it doesn't push glucose data to Apple health like Stelo does. Have you found a way to report out your data from the Lingo app?
@parristx2 ай бұрын
I am worse off than you- I don't even own an iPhone! My daughter didn't want my Lingo data going into her Apple Health but she agreed to put the Lingo app on her phone so I can check it occasionally. I like some things about Lingo better than Stelo but I won't get another Lingo sensor until they come out with an Android app.

Thank you sir. You seem to be the first one on YT who has done a review of these CGMs. I used to use the Dexcom G6 regular CGM, but the expense was too much. I looked at the specs for Lingo and they are better than the Stelo, so I think I will go with the Lingo. However, like you, I don't use an iPhone, so will wait until the Android version happens. But I do think that with both devices, the initial warm up period robs me of a day that I pay for. I don't want to pay for a 14 day sensor and really get 13 days. Just curious, why do you use them? Are you diabetic?
@parristx2 ай бұрын
Hi there. I agree that the one day "warm up" for both CGMs is unfortunate. At least with the Stelo there is the 12-hour switch-over time period when you can get a new sensor going. My Lingo still has a few more days on it so I am not sure if it will have something similar. And I was pre-diabetic a few years back but lost weight so my fasting glucose finally got back into the 90s. Right now I want to learn what spikes my glucose and experiment to try and minimize that.

Same story for me. My A1c Was trending up 2 years ago. I went keto and lost 25 pounds.

Does the Stello seem more accurate than Lingo? I tried Stello first, followed by Lingo. Lingo seems to smooth out my spikes more, or else Stello exaggerates them. But I wasn’t wearing them at the same time, so not really comparing apples to apples. I will have to get a fingerstick blood test so that I can see if Lingo is right.

Yes, I like several feature of the Lingo better than the Stelo but I won't get another Lingo sensor until they come out with the Android app.
