Great update! Did you finally get them removed in June? What's the aftermath like? Do they make you wear retainers every night to maintain your new smile or do they put in permanent ones?

I didn’t get them removed! My orthodontist wanted to correct the area to the left some more so we did new scans and they shipped new wires to help with the adjustments! I’m in no rush to have them removed and they don’t bother me at all so I’m okay will having them in longer!!!

Thank you! And I have to wear them until June! I’m getting new scans done and then they’ll make some minor adjustments before I get my retainer!

Thank you and I believe I’ve had 1. Ever since I got my braces I’ve been trying to stick to a routine to ensure I’m taking care of my teeth because i don’t want anymore haha!

Did you have a lisp at first? How long did it take you to get used to them?

I barely had a lisp! And I think after 3 weeks I got use to them and after that I barely even realized I had them!
