Lingual Wire Vs Retainer

If you have been through or are considering orthodontics, it is important to know there are two types of retainers. The first is a lingual wire which is a retainer that is cemented to the teeth. While it is permanent, it has a lot of pros that make it great for the user. The other option is a removable retainer that can be taken on and off the teeth. When you finish your orthodontia journey, it is important to have a thoughtful discussion with your provider over what retainer is best for you. As always, smile smarter!
