Note: Public school means private school

It should be noted that 'public school' is misleading as in Britain it refers to private boarding schools, rather than 'public' education.

Sir, some authors says that Old English were used from about AD 500 to 1050, and it was also called Anglo-Saxon. Is there any historical milestone that marked those times in a more detailed way?
