wow, the bag looks beautiful...it looks burgundy in some lights. I am curious to see how it will soften over time. I have one tote from madewell and one from Coccinelle that are chestnut and burgundy. one is very structured and the other one is very soft and light. i use them both but only for uni days! your CO cardholders are adorable. xx

It really is gorgeous and the colour is so different to what I expected, as like you say, the colour changes with the light, which I love! I get the feeling it'll retain it's structure and not get too slouchy (which is just what I'm after!) but I'll try and do an update perhaps in a video towards the end of winter :) xx

I have a Chloe bag in mahogany that a friend bought for me. It reminds me of your bag. I do love it. My bag has a magnetic closure that is the strongest magnet I've ever had. It attracts my eye glass case. It's funny. My bag has a long strap as well as a handle. Love that color for you. Love the fabric lining. Mine does not have a fabric lining. Thanks for sharing. I actually just use it as an everyday diary - I wanted to support Jasmine Dowling (an Aussie artist/graphic designer) and I liked that the size was small enough to fit in most of my handbags. I have and will use the three month goals bit, and I've set goals for the start of the year too, but I don't use the weekly goals very often. Hope that answers your question! xx

It's usually leftovers from the night before (typically a casserole, and in winter I have a lot more soups). LOL that's so funny I didn't notice. Funny thing is he meows when I'm not holding him!! :D

I'm 4'11 and one of the trickiest things for me is finding a tote that doesn't look massive for me but is still practical. How do you think this one would fare and how long do the straps drop?

So I have a tote from Everlane which is much bigger than this but still looks good on my 5'8" frame. This is a size that I think would be much better suited to someone as petite as you are. The strap drop is 22cm from the top to the bag (just down the centre) and it fits perfectly over my shoulder - quite comfortable. I've been using this bag for about 1 year now every weekday and it's still looking great. I have some minor scratches from my cats (they're so naughty!) and there's some wear on the edges but that's normal. I'm really happy with it and the leather has softened up very nicely. I hope that helps xx

Hello! Question for Linjer bag, do the handles drop from the shoulder easily? I know you mentioned that you put them criss cross with each other when putting them on your shoulder. I think whether the handle easily drop from shoulder or not is a big point of consideration for me when choosing tote! Thanks! I am considering to get one soft tote from Linjer :)

Sorry for the delayed response - if I'm wearing a big bulky coat, then yes, they can slip off my shoulders but nothing too major. For lighter outfits that don't have a big coat, it's absolutely fine on me! Hope that helps :)

Personally I don't find it too bad - and I don't always have a laptop on me which probably helps. I walk 45 minutes each way to work, don't have any issues with the straps digging in or anything like that either x

I definitely try to purchase things that I either know have been produced ethically (where there is transparency - often there isn't!), buy second hand, or spend a little more on my things, although what I've learnt is that it doesn't always mean that workers are being treated better, unfortunately. But as I always say, I'm only human and I do occasionally end up being tempted by places like ASOS! Quality over quantity though, right?! :)

For my needs, I prefer Linjer, in large part because the bag is fully lined but if you're after something a bit more malleable and less structured, then I would go with Cuyana. I'd check the measurements but I think the Cuyana one is slightly bigger! x
