27:00 this entire moment here and the way the guy in the bottom right corner is reacting is completely different if you understand the context behind the scenes of the animators themselves… And honestly, the entire background controversy behind Mar’s animator is genuinely sad and tragic… 😔 Because It definitely feels so much worse should you ever find out, and I hope that reactor realises himself. It’s just sad for everyone involved. 😕

@@Tristeriix in completely blunt terms so there’s no room for confusion: Mar’s creator was caught “interacting” with a child… and the victim came out and confirmed it for everyone. Gilded Guy had tried to help Mar’s Creator, since he had openly said it was something about himself he was struggling with, but he had refused any and all help with finding therapy for himself. He never felt that he deserved to be helped for it, and as a result, He got completely removed from the community and the platform at large once it all came out. Like I said, it’s genuinely tragic for everyone involved: The community losing an amazing Animator, Gilded Guy lost a good friend, The Victim lost their innocence… Even Mar’s creator Lost. He’d openly admitted that this has been a long term problem for himself, something that he had no control over… But he felt so horrible and hated himself that much about it that he genuinely felt that he didn’t deserve to get help on the matter through Therapy or other means about it, resulting in him losing everything too… Like I said… everyone lost here. And that’s what hurts most. 😞 That’s why I said that I hope the guy in the corner and everyone watching realises why things played out the way they did in the animation and what happened in the background. The work of the animation is incredible in of itself, no denying it. But it’s also a representation of what happened behind the scenes. Like how, in spite of everything that happened, Gilded Guy was still trying to help Mar as a friend about what happened, and Why Mar refused any and all help, Because he felt far too guilty about everything and believed he was beyond Help. And the Little Girl in the animation? Well, it was the nail in the coffin on the whole thing when they came out and revealed everything that happened… it’s just depressing honestly… 😞 Hope that cleared things up for you.

@@CaptainFirespitter Man Gildedguy is out here performing like Kendrick Lamar the way he is depicting his stories and its honestly impressive, but also really depressing how Gildedguy is expressing the situation with Mar. By drawing these bright colorful and wonderful animations he lowkey distracted me from the bigger picture. Thank you for explaining what happened with Mar and why he ended up dying.

@@146tybIue I’m glad to be of help. It’s unfortunately not the first time I’ve seen this happen with a beloved creator, and sadly won’t be the last… 😔 It’s a shame honestly, because I genuinely hold so much respect for the kind of animation that he did, especially since I used to do it myself years ago in the past. (Not anymore though.) The thing that strikes me the most about this which makes me all the sadder, is that he genuinely regretted his actions back then, but couldn’t bring himself to forgive himself for what happened. There are ways for people to go forward on such things and find help so something like this doesn’t happen again, but I guess he never felt he deserved even that for how much he hates himself because of it… Really is tragic, because nobody won in here. Everyone lost: Gilded guy, The child, Mar, and us. I can only hope, going forward into the future that they can find some peace for themselves. The victim, and Mar… 😔

I have a feeling that Mar (The dragon guy) feels guilt because of his uncontrollable powers had done in the past so he put himself in isolation (the tower), so that way he doesn't have to hurt anyone, until Gildedguy comes in to help him but deep down he doesn't want to let go of his powers because he's afraid even if he finally get rid of his powers, he'll always be seen as the dragon.

It's kinda symbolic with the backstory behind this animation. Mar's creator used to work with Gildedguy and did some animation in ep4, but some time ago a certain controversy happened. Long story short, It was something about 'inappropriate advances to his cohorts, some who were minors', (idk the full story, just paraphrasing what I heard). Gilded tried many times in the past to try and help him, but he kept pushing him away, and later disappeared from the internet completely. The child stabbing Mar symbolises how it was a little too late for Mar to receive help after all he's done. And promptly sink into the ground, never to be seen from again. Idk, something to think about I guess

@@johanstenfelt1206 Aspects are up to interpretation, but from what the animation shows and how I interpret it: Mar’s dragon terrorizing the towns leaves a traumatic impact on himself. Mar refuses help seeing as the horrible acts his dragon has done have demonized him in the eyes of the people around him. Mar fully accepts the dragon, believing that it’s too late to turn back. He seals his fate and is dragged to hell/banished for his actions by the people who were victims of the dragon of Mar.
